Alright, let me report what I did today.
Stonybrook golf club, one of top 25 courses in Orlando.
Member tee: 6221, 70.3/128
I hit 89/72. 6 pars, 9 bogeries, and 1 double-b, 2 triple-b.
Yes, I played the same course yesterday. I got 93.The main difference was that
I played with my partner, the best players of my gangs. and he got 84, which
is not his normal score. And he is a 3-4 handicap player.
What I learnt yesterday was

hills golf course.
I teed off from Blue tee, 6398 yards, par 71, rating/slope is 72/138
something.
This is the most solid round golf I've ever played. I was able to shoot some
good scores, getting some up-and-downs. But I never played so consistent
like today.
Like I posted yesterday, scratch golfers usually shot 12-14 g.i.r。 I shot
solid 12 greens. I birdied 3 holes at back 9. Unfortunately missed two

Acutally, I didn't finish 2 holes due to traffic. After I put ball on green,
or I teed off, I left.
My goal for this round was seeing how many green I can hit, try to verify my
approach shot accuracy. then I'll move to fairway hit, and it will be putts
, and up and down. Hopefully, I can get some consistent data. |

it was just one year ago. I played with some seniors and they commented you
swing (posture) is like Tiger.
Last Dec, I played the ASU golf course with 3 Janpanese. After I teed off
the hole #16, one guy who can speak english said, your swing is like tiger
Woods.
the most important one was from my instructor - kaka.. my swing is like
tiger's. even not like his. I want to be like my instructor's simple swing.

teed off at 5:10pm, and finished at 8:30pm. a long day.
played with another pro. forgot his name.
he used to play for Okalhoma University in 1991-1995, turned to be pro after
graduated. now still plays at some professional tour, and trying to make a
spot on the coming Valero Texas Open and PGA q-school.
we both played like shit. when i said, 'did you try to be pro after u
graduated in 1995? ' , he answered, 'i am still a pro, even i didn't play
like a pro to |

had not finished a whole round for almost one month. sounds being bored of
this game, tho still enjoy at the range a lot.
it's true that i can't play well on course. don't know it's the reason I

I stayed the golf course for 8 hours today. it was 3 hours yesterday.
Met the pro Scott and an ex-pro Mike at 12:00pm. Played with them for 9
holes.
Before I teed off, I told them I got the right swing thought. I felt I am
like Tiger. They laughted at that.
But I did hit several shots like Tiger. (well, I felt like.)

tee it high. every time i hit a high launch, i know i am looking at tee shot 200 or below.
tee high very easily leads to high launch
standard tee hight such that: middle of ball teed up = driver club head resting on
turf, isn't it.
how much higher you tee it up, how about ball position, further forward in
stance?
i know longer drivers tee it high, but they use very loft club head... |

The front 9 is too hard, tho it's 3200+ yards, especially the hole #3.
never saw a 370 yards par 4 like that. the fairway is like a tunnel . also
it's a dogleg right hole. the green is up-elevated, against the wind always.
i teed off using 3 iron and hit good twice, still ends up like 180 yards to
the pin. bogey the hole at the first time to play, and double-b the hole at
the 2nd time play, and triple-b the hole at the |

at the Golden Oaks Country Club today.
We had a good time.
Typhoon's driving is impressive. And he has a really nice tempo. I like it
very much. He also got a very nice swing, from setup to the finish position.
We teed off from the back tee, played like 7106 yards. I played a solid
round golf, shot +6 through 18 holes, among those, +2 happened on the front
9, and +4 on the back 9. 2 birdies (as what I usually got), 8 bo |

i started late, so no one teed off. i don't have patience either.
when I have to wait, i play with my iphone. after 2-3 holes, they'll let me
through.

about 20 minutes and then teed off. It fixed 90% of my miss hit problem imme
diately. I still slice sometimes because my hands need to get just a little
quicker before contact. I recommend this drill to anyone who has trouble sta
ying "tucked in" on the down swing and miss the sweetspot by catching the ba
ll on the heel of the driver. |

giving more margin for errors. that's why i like hit long iron from short
rough better than fairway.
when practice, no tee. play couse, tee up a bit.
long iron no tee is a stern test of how good the golf swing is... |

This time I decided to try something different on the par 3s. I teed off the
ball with my 17 degree 2 hybrids, it landed in the left rough, rolling onto
a residence fence. Couldn’t find a special rule on the scorecard for a
free drop and I used LW to hit the ball back toward to the tee box, and then
pitched it onto the green …
