The car is OK. Smooth and it looks good.
The car OS has glitches. For example, iphone skype with car bluetooth
occasionally has issues with Mic. It works fine with my other bluetooth
handfree.
The tech package is not useful at all. I wish that I had not got it and
wasted $2500
The heated seat is not very useful for CA. I wish that they had cooling
instead |

刚刚收到recruiter 的邮件，说Amazon-Seattle 大量招senior software engineer。
看对眼的，参加在seattle 的面试event，进行a single in-person interview， 直接
决定offer/no offer. 而且免之前的2-3轮tech interview。
据说前台，后台，mobile， ML多个组参与，包括了多个项目（面世，未面世的）。
不知真假，请A家的达人们鉴定一下？ |

具体要求不太清楚，只要你原来的GPA还可以一般录取没有问题。
但是第一学期应该没有奖学金，第二学期如果学习好有可能有奖，
还有就是tech的CS分两个地方，main compus(Blacksburg)和Nova
(Near DC)。Blacksburg这里工作机会很少，很难找到机会打工，
但是房子便宜，Nova的工作机会很多，可以打工赚钱，但是房子
很贵。至于毕业后的工作嘛，tech的学生还是很受欢迎的。 |

budge that prevent the taking out of the pin and replacing with the pin
coming with the tech sight. I don't want to cut off the orginal pin, anyone
on board has any idea how to release the pin?

做IC， 你的重点是应该怎么让自己尽量牛。
做manager， 你的重点是应该怎么让你team里的人尽量牛。
这两个没法兼顾。 兼顾了， 十有八九就不是好manager， 很容易micro-manage。
很多new manager都失败在这个地方， 尤其是从ic刚刚变成manager的， 不愿意
放开原来自己做的事情， 很多事情希望亲历亲为， 其实这个是大错特错， 做了
manager
首先是自己的意识需要调整。
btw， 在tech领域， 很多公司还有一种tech lead manager （TLM） 这个又不太一样。
TLM很多时候是IC role， 并不是management role， 只是组织结构上lead一个team而
已。 |

they are surprised that GA Tech is ranked so high for Engineering.
unfortunately I have already accepted the offer from GA Tech, it feels like
I just lost something because of the decision. Hopefull DSP PhD can get me
some jobs in the future. Actually i could have set out to work after my
college. Many of my friends got jobs here with salary around 60k. Don't
know if phD in Engineering is a wise decision after all. |

Even for tech view point, i believe he is not really outstanding that much.
Look at his background, Allen did not really teach him much thing. He
gained more or less at Ti with an internship on LDO for a Ph.D thesis.
But he is pretty good at communication, hard-working, good on business
talking, people skills, etc. That is exactly what you need to learn
excluding the tech stuff. He will go thru the simula |

school.
2. joined a firm as tech spec. Applied green card immediately through EB1A
on his own based on previous research. Got green card before starting law

4. already had green card before joining a law firm/starting law school.

看见的老鼠比看见的人还多。我只是想逃离实验室而已”回答起来也只能说:“想接触
前沿科技。”心不诚，对patent了解得的也不多，别人对我的印象也一般。我想应该向
你学习，旁听些课，一方面确定一下自己是适合做这行的，另一方面让面试的人了解我
对patent的热诚。anyway, 期待你的续集~~
个很多人都不考虑的option,如果我感兴趣，值得一试。他建议我接触一下这方面的知
识，毕竟有兴趣才有动力。我于是春季学期跑到法学院去旁听了一门patent law。上课
基本上就是在讨论cases,讲USC35。刚开学的时候我还跟得上，到后来因为我既没有复
习,也没有读case,对property law也根本没概念，就只是听个热闹而已。Anyway，一个
学期下来，我觉得做patent law里面对于细节的要求很多,跟我自己的性格很合拍，虽
然讨论繁琐，reading也很多，我还是很感兴趣的，所: 跃途龆苏飧鯿areer

Just check their web-sites. Time is long gone when your Chinese language
skill can be such a plus that all things being equal, a firm would prefer a
native Chinese speaker.
2. There has been a huge flux of ppl with Sci. & Engr. PhD entering patent
law.

the muster of strict scrutiny.
1. ALL GP or IP firms have someone who can speak Chinese (or dialects
thereof) Just check their web-sites. Time is long gone when your Chinese
language skill can be such a plus that all things being equal, a firm would
prefer a native Chinese speaker.
