yeah, I think that over the time, my MBA has proven to be a waste as well.
i should have just grabbed my MS and got out. Or pursue something higher
than MS, which i then did not have the patience, persistence and
perseverence for. If I had done that, let us say, I shall be a much better
man than a mediocre techie like I am right now.

well... we all have our regrets and unfinished business, the good news is
that in another 30 years or so, all of us would be retired, collecting
social securities, and some of us would be lucky enough to even collect
pensions.. none of this, schools, being techie enough, job title, or having
real estates would even matter... by then, the biggest goal in life would be
keeping blood pressure down, joints intact, and body healthy...

看到一个评论,不知道是否是苹果尚未改善Notification的合理解释:
@Jesse: “Either way – both Android and WebOS’s notification is light
years ahead of the joke that is iOS notifications”
I have two people in my life neither of whom are “techies” in any sense of
the word and both of whom have Android-based phones and one of the results
of Android’s approach to notifications is that they miss a lot of
notifications, plain and simple. One of them in particular never seems to

It's true super large system usually runs on Unix*,as you once get on scale,
you can afford to hire good people to avoid license charge. But as we are
talking about "基于MS平台的系统,scalability怎么样", there are examples from
MS itself:
1. Bing, everything runs on Windows, second to Google, but still a LARGE

I'd suggest you find something you like and just go for it. EE/ECE is a
relatively stable field so if this is not what you are looking for you
should probably switch to a lesser related field. I stayed for a bit over a

not for me so I made a total switch. Admittedly I was much happier while
being a techie, but I know I'm better off doing something else. As for

2014 was a big year for big data, a term that gradually gained momentum to
become one of the most talked-about subjects in the tech world. With 2015
fast approaching, prepare for big data’s total domination, as it, along

It will become standard for businesses to try and benefit from it by
