华盛顿附近旅行心得——第二部分：周边
第二部分：周边
首先声明：我其实比较烦“攻略”之类的东西。我认为，宁可少去几个地方，但每去一
个地方都用心感受，比蜻蜓点水地去很多地方、留下一堆“到此一游”的照片要强得多
。另外，我个人的兴趣是自然景色、野生动物以及历史人文，当然我会侧重于这些方面
；如果你感兴趣的是游乐场、购物天堂，可以就此打住。
怎么定义“周边”呢？我想粗粗地定义为出城时间不超过两小时吧！这应当是一个可以
接受的定义，因为你要是真的从华盛顿出发，即使是必须当天赶回，到达目的地之后也
还能有好几个钟头的活动时间。
稍微出城一点，可以去看Great Falls of the Potomac。在这里有两个国家公园总署管

从湖滨码头区(Harbourfront)出发，在按大略湖畔散步，到约克码头中心（Youk Quay
Centre)参观画廊与花园．然后，乘渡轮上多伦多．下午，途经安大略美术馆，前往布
鲁尔－约克维尔(Bloor-Ypukville)，在 Movenpick’sBistretto & La Pecherie 海味
餐厅饱吃一顿海鲜大餐，然后，在附近琳琅满目的各种商店里闲逛数小时．
晚上，去麦迪逊大道俱乐部（Madison Avenue Pub)喝上几杯，然后，沿着皇后西街(
Queen West)找几家餐厅，品尝各种不同口味的美食．最棒的是，去看一场真人秀．
二日游
第二天，前往安大略皇家博物馆(Royqal Ontario Museum)，造访独特的Baldwin村，在
圣·劳伦斯集市(St Lawrence Market)用午餐．下午，参加我们的徒步游逛多伦多的闹
市区．晚上，在蒙特利尔爵士餐吧(Montreal Bistro & Jazz Club)欣赏一场迷你型爵
士乐表演，在Danforth Ave大街细细品味晚场MEZES(希腊TAPAS)，同时再喝上几杯.

上Echo Mountain的Sam Merrill Trail往返5英里，因为长度适中坡度平缓，而且靠近
居民区，一年四季都是洛杉矶当地人远足的首选地之一。如果是周末，远足客们的汽车
早早地便占满了附近的几条街道，一直延伸到几百米以外的居民区里...
洛杉矶四季如春，即便是在最炎热的8月，高温的天气也很短暂。而北面那绵延2500平
方公里的圣盖博山脉，便是远足客们的天堂。圣盖博山，坐拥安吉斯国家森林，峰峦翠
笼、溪水鸣渐、瀑布奔涌、野花飘香，一百多年来，一代一代探险者和远足客们徒步踩
出的山路，如一张细密的大网，延伸到山中的每一个角落。
沿着圣盖博山脉由西向东，进山的路只有几条，最著名的便是Angeles Crest Highway
，又称2号公路。从La Canada北上，顺着山势绵延弯曲，进入圣盖博山以后逐渐向东延
伸，绕进威尔逊峰后麓，近100年来，一直就是著名的威尔逊天文台的重要运输要道，
也是从山的腹地通向front range区域的很多hiking trail的必经之路。
