在目前加州正四处燃烧的大火中,有个巨无霸在发挥作用,所到之处都引起惊叹,并得到
救火队员和居民的欢呼.
这就是 Tanker 910,俗称DC-1O的救火飞机,这是由麦道DC-10老飞机改造的专用救火飞
机.
这的确是一个聪明的想法,事实上前苏联也有类似的大型救火飞机.
Tanker 910有三个电脑控制的水柜,位于机腹下方,最多可以一次携带 12,000 加仑 (45
,600 升) 的水或灭火剂.
该飞机机身部分在VAN NUYS,LA,CA由某专业飞机改造公司改造,
在Victorville,CA加装了欧洲进口的水柜和系统集成.

on the oil part. I see oil price keep climbing in the next few years.
I don't have the info to really evaluate Drys's value. I don't think those
analysts do either. So it will introduce more variables in its pricing. you
will see analysts' opinion diverge.
Drys management is smart enough to position themselves in finance market by
claiming potential future IPO in both drilling and tanker business. I

谈DRYS，就必须要提到它的两块业务，和最近的事件
1，Dry bulk shipping市场不容乐观，2011年新船下海会是已有船只的23.3%，2012年
是17.7%，这对BDI压力很大，需求上虽然中国进口也在增加但是远没有供应方增加的快
。这块大概2年内都不会有太大起色。
2，Drilling 这是DRYS最近两年唯一的看点，最近该签的合同都签了，只有2011年9月
下海的Mykonos还没有合同，签合同问题应该不大，但是消息出来应该还有段日子（个
人猜测在4月份左右，根据是以往签合同与新船Deliever的时间差，同时Drilling市场
比较乐观）。这块最近2-3个月应该不会有更好的消息出来了。所以，股价向上的空间
不大。
3， 最近的事件就是指向Tanker转型啦。
弊大于利，因为Tanker虽然没有干货shipping那么紧张，但是也处于供应上升期，船只
数量粗算下来未来两年增加24%（这点是我以前没有看到的）。先不说Tanker和
Drilling是否存在Synergy，单从供求来看不理想。

把玩的时候 经常感叹 美国几十年（一般我喜欢的是60年前的东西）前制造的东西真的
是瓷实啊 基本都是大湖区的州生产的 像Ohio, Michigan
钢材基本是不生锈的 油漆也是基本完好 转椅的seat和靠背上用的人造革弄干净像新的
一样 唯一撑不住的是里面垫的海绵（都成粉了）
如果是铝制的（atomic age的）用buffer一打光 像新的一样
一张30x60的tanker desk, 全钢制的，加起来总重量得有300磅，同志们，300磅的钢材
做一张带抽屉的写字台！60年代的老货
这都不是什么高科技 但是角角落落都透着quality, longevity, workmanship, 体现的
是实力和霸气
