Tall Fescue 不会自己来的，那么大一片，肯定是以前有人撒的种子。
有可能撒的人不知道包装里的草是什么品种。
去年？一般割草机的刀几个月就要磨一下。比较疯的是两个星期一次。
如果叶子切不齐，那就要磨一下了。我就是自己磨的，不是很麻烦。
唯一比较棘手的是我的 blade 上紧的螺丝力矩有规定，太松太紧都
不行。我买了个量力矩的扳手来上紧。拆刀片前记得先把火花塞连线
拔下来。虽然非常不可能自己点火，小心为好。
争不过tall fescue，就死了。你传的那张照片，你们家种的是不是就是tall fesuce |

如果肥撒多了的话，会烧死草的。如果是这种情况多给水。
还有其他可能是降温了很多草开始黄了。还有疾病等等。
要搞清楚是什么原因才好对症下药。
我个人不是很喜欢 Weed & Feed.
你撒过 weed & feed 近期不能撒草籽发芽的。看你撒的
weed & feed 印在袋子上的说明要等多长时间才能种新草。

发帖数: 7142 | 3 全年绿的，在树荫里也能长得好的只有过渡带的草了，
又回到 Tall Fescue 上面去了。
你要是不那么讲究外观可以用那些叶子比较粗的 Tall Fescue.
俗称 dwarf fescue . 我怀疑就是 Millennium.
Pacific Sod 的 Medallion Dwarf 也是这一类。和比较 fine
的 tall fescue 比较就是耐踩一些，叶子比较粗。单独拿出来
样子比较像杂草。我不是很喜欢，我更喜欢细叶子的草。
而且我发现 TTTF 有个好处是那种 杂草 在里面就特别明显，
个头高一截而且颜色比我的 TTTF 浅多了，鹤立鸡群，直接拔掉。
而且你有个感觉是tall fescue 里面排名高的维护就高。其实
不是的。理想状态长得比别人好不等于少维护就不好。里面有些
针对 病菌的 rating 还是很实用的，rating 越高就是越不容易
病，维护少。你不重视外观的话挑抗病的，耐踩的。 |

我完全没有加 10 -10 -10. 用水也就是 Tall Fescue 的水平，
夏天还有地方渴秃了几个地方（Tall Fescue & Fine Fescue)。
Bermuda 本来不够我的改良 Tall Fescue 颜色深，但是夏天
Tall Fescue 比较吃力，颜色也没有差太多。
特别是喂鸟的下面那里， Bermuda 超级茂盛。 |

tall fescue 不如 St Auguestine 抗旱，长年绿。个人还挺喜欢
Tall Fescue 的。
KBG 比 Tall Fescue 费多一点水。其实我觉得如果不是过 1000 sqt
的话水费其实无所谓，没有多少钱的。这个观赏价值远远值了。
我的邻居最近还说我的草好看呢。附近的草坪都是夹了很多黄的。

而且这个叶子很胖，不是很典型。但是我看又有点像是
Tall Fescue, 有一个叶子有 Tall Fescue 那样典型的卷
的样子，还是拿不准。
那个草的叶子是不是有比较粗糙的顺着叶子的纹理的？
7a 应该是 cool season grass 了。长成这样是比较可怜。
如果真是 Tall Fescue 就需要从新种了。这个原来的管理
估计比较不得当。这个似乎没有什么其他比较委婉的说法。
如果从新种的话，还是先练习一下正确的管理方式。浇水和
割草什么的。
如果不是 bermuda 就不需要挖草根。把干的死草除掉露出
土壤然后就可以铺 sod 或者从新撒种子种。 撒种子比较
费神，自己考虑吧。
最好的时间是秋天播种，其次是春天。春天不好的就是夏天
很热，很多 cool season grass 夏天比较难受。中间播种到
夏天的时间很短。 |

看了看， 然后昨晚邻居又送给了2包草种， 问题就出来了：
1, tall fescue 和turf-type tall fescue, 有什么区别和不同？都是深绿色，宽肥叶
？ 我在lowe's买的， 那里人推荐的， 就是下面这个，说每周要割二次草(这个有点头

如果有可能的话找那种有根部蔓延的改良品种。这个长期

这草是粗（coarse）了一点，但耐踩。要是家里有小孩或者宠物爱在草坪上玩的话，恐
怕这是少数能活下来的草种。
它的问题除了coarse外，就是形态总是一撮撮的。Clumps之间可能露缝儿出来，所以得
不停的overseeding或者混种其它Creeping的草。混种的情况下，没有杀草剂能把它
single out出来，所以，你杀死它后，其它周围的草也八成得死。
你要是用的是Scotts'或者Pennington这种全国都卖的货的话，里面是可以混tall
fescue的，仔细看label。避免的办法是，到本地lawncare点买精选的本地草种。
在东北这边，基本不缺水，只要剪得勤，tall fescue混在里面不显。但是，缺水的话
，它周围一圈其它草可抢不过它，就会枯死，最后更显得他鹤立鸡群，那么这种情况，
你就只能拔了。 |

不会。这个帮助清理杂草。
看不出来，我能看出来的是至少叶子比较宽的不是 Tall Fescue，
怀疑是不是 St Augstine。
没有。 Tall Fescue 是最接近耐寒耐热的。

It was totally 5 star. The boat had trampolines outside on the deck besides
some seats. It was called the Trilogy IV. The crew was great. They offered
us drinks and yummy snacks. The Captain's name is . . . I forget. Well, at
least I remember the rest of the crew's names. Dominick is very tall, thin
and has dark hair. Denver is not so tall, but also has dark hair. Jason has
blond hair, and is about as tall as Denver.
