晚辈马上要去的两所学校面试，都是研究型职位，都只安排了seminar talk，没安排
chalk talk. 其他时间都是跟教授们一对一meet，请问这是不是正常啊？而且从时间安
排来看，也不会有第二次onsite 了。
我是不是要在seminar talk 里也花点时间讲讲future plan啊？

2个很好的公司的研究中心，两个很好的大学。
我保留了他们发出的seminar（大学）通知（网上和email），没有job interview的信
息。公司有我认识的人，我估计可以要到给talk的证明，应该不会包含job相关的信息。
这样的情况下，这些talk用来support什么？
另外，关于独立推荐人，boss的boss算不算？我没有见过他。

and years later, days before I left china, I got a surprising call from her.

audio call 其它google talk用户，一拨就通；
拨打美国电话（或者国际电话），却经常第一次拨没任何声音或者出现'resume'按钮，
折腾两三次才正常听到拨打中的提示音。
这个现象只在一台电脑上出现。
请问有人有什么线索指教？

动作真快，而且都总结的非常好，全面，细致，有条有理，真让人不佩服不行，我还真
找不出什么需要补充的地方。我主要就组织者的辛苦工作写点儿感想，不说他们在TALK
前 繁杂的组织协调工作，单说昨晚从EST７：３０一直坚守到１１：２０，近四个小时
，我就坐在电脑前只听还觉得累，别说他们还要照顾方方面面，尽量满足每个同学的需
要。非常感激他们的热心付出，也感谢几位SPEAKERS的精彩TALK！！！ |

想想自己计划今年也递交申请，特将两个talks的笔记，再加上以前相关talk中所学总
结如下。
所谓whole package，我认为可包含以下几个部分（如有遗漏请及时补充）
1． USMLE scores：step1 and 2是match所必需。如需申请H1B，则必须有Step3。
Step3在9/10月前考掉，对病理申请有加分
90以上看whole package，90以下就要在别处下功夫，connection，USCE了
2． US clinic experience：基本有两种
OB：越多越好，感觉至少一个月才能得到好的推荐信
Externship：Americlerkship，FMG portal；inpatient is the best choice
3． all important documents
（1）personal statement：Template：Google，精化版旧帖； 最后商业机构进行修改

小麦给留了个作业，抽点时间完成。
讲座完以后，估计每个同学都受到或多或少的头脑风暴，包括我自己也会从中或多或少
的有一些些压力，化压力为动力是个好事情，如果有压力继而怀疑自己的能力，那反而
不是我们策划小组的初衷。呵呵。。。
讲座后，无论讲座者的个性如何，或活泼，或严谨，但共性是什末呢？
1：喜欢交流，愿意帮助别人。介个从愿意给大家讲课就看得出来哈。，
2：自信，充满激情。所有讲课的同学，无论毕业年限长，还是毕业年限短，对自己很
认同，换句话说知道怎样表达自己的优秀的地方，而且对生活充满激情。
3：逻辑严谨。其实MATCH除了门槛高，剩下的跟一般找工作区别也不大。（所以咧，套
用我妈的一句话：从思想上藐视视敌人，从战略重视敌人。哈哈哈哈。。。）所以有个
严谨周密的计划，也是成功的一半哈。
剩下的每人有自己的风格，只要在正态分布内的正常发挥，总会有自己的一片阳光。。
