这个说实话，可能性不大。
Gordon和Yamanaka工作的意义在于打破了传统认为发育是不可逆的单行道的理解，而提
出终端分化的细胞也具有高度可塑性。采用合适的方法 -- 核移植或者引入在stem cel
l中富集的转录因子 -- 可以把细胞从终点推回到原点（比MyoD把fibroblast转化成myo
blast走得更远）。
实际上Yamanaka的路子最早Rudolf Jaenish就提出过（并且还申请了专利），但是Jaen
ish并没有做出实验，可惜。Yamanaka也暗示他受到Jaenish的影响。
Yamanaka幕后的英雄是Takahashi，疯子般的把20个不同病毒dump到一起，而且被他做成

包括今年毕业的超级明星Satoru Takahashi （今年被普林斯顿大学聘请为助理教授）
。几个也是高年级的中国人什么像样的发表都没有。原来一些哈佛毕业的中国人有很多
一辈子都没有世界前10的杂志发表的。
这一现象似乎不能完全以偶然来解释。我开始想原因可能是一些读博士的中国人不是真

斗。
听说日本学经济学的人有个bbs，有star什么的job market都会经常发帖讲述感慨，提
携后进。比如前几年去普林的Takahashi，就写过长篇帖子讨论他在几个学校的flyout

For example, Takahashi and Fujii proposed many series expansion solutions to
FBSDE's, but they did not post any convergence results until recently. What
they did back then was just to compare their methods with the closed form
