先介绍下本人情况，UC Irvine cs（networked system）专业硕士在读，今年年底毕业
，暑假在BRCOM实习，大概接触过一些firmware，wifi, bluetooth。编程能力一般，主
要熟悉C和JAVA，没用过C++。本科毕业国内通信设计院干过一年，有NA，NP证书，所以
TCP／IP，各种计算机路由协议大概都知道一些，会一些linux／UNIX，shell，内核了
解一些。
我现在给自己的定位还是准备找码工职位，只是板上大多是FLMG之类的纯CS公司面经，
刷题也多是一些高级算法，OO语言较多。虽然会JAVA（也不精通就是了。。OO写程序没
问题），但是我个人感觉和我的背景相对来说有一些差别。 所以还是准备用C来面试，
走system level，现在在看OS，做OS的project。基本程序也是在linux下用vim之类的
写C来练，CC150以前用java写过一遍，现在在用C重写。

经常看到一些老一点的房子，比如80's的，在utility information里说是用septic
system，而新一些的房子就只是说sewer connected，但是两者都列出了sewer company
。请问这个用septic system的，污水也都归sewer company处理么？自己还要不要定期
maintain一下这个septic system, 比如隔几年请人清理一下tank什么的。那样不是很
麻烦？ |

发帖数: 313 | 21 偶刚刚修好了家里HVAC的zoning。为了修这个，爬到阁楼里捣鼓了几个小时，又看了几
个小时的说明书，对这个zoning system的工作原理有了个基本了解。
每个system一般可以有2-4个zone，比如偶家里一楼的system有3个zone，二楼是另一个
独立的HVAC system，有两个zone。每个zone被一个themostat控制，可以控制多个
damper，每个damper可以控制一个或多个出风口。zoning对damper的开启或者关闭是通
过电控或者气控（吸气或吹气）。当damper关闭的时候，出风口可以感觉到热气，但是
没有热风。
如果偶是你，偶就去找找其它的thermostat，至少还有一个，这个可能控制着好几个房
间（好几个damping）。找到后打开试试。如果还是没有热气，就要找原因了。有可能
是damping出了问题。对了，为了提高效率，你可以试着把回气口的几个出风口关起来
（有的系统没有）。 |

的，问要不要保留原来的connector，要的话还要另外走线。说现在新式的alarm
system都是wireless的什么的。
这种情况是保留老的system（我猜是红外？），还是打电话给ADT之类的公司让他们帮
忙装一个新的system？这种安全系统用处大不？我知道很多老中估计都舍不得花这个钱
。不知道用的人有什么感受！

sewage system". 在另外一个问题里 "how many bedrooms was the on-site sewage
system approved?", 他们回答 "4 bedrooms"。（他们房子里有共4个bedrooms）
但是county网站上信息显示该房子的Sewer/Septic 是“PUBLIC ”的。房子的lot size
有“Acres 0.35”， 对方listing agent也说该房子没有septic系统。
不知道这个房子到底有没有"on-site sewage system"，到底"on-site sewage system"
是指的什么？ |

不错 ，（quad core i7 ,8g memory ）, 但做system restore 时间经常很慢。 一般
做完factory reset 后，第一次 system restore 很快，但再做就很慢了。 我把
chrome 的 history 全清了也不行。
但有一个旧的windows 8 到时很快。 一般做一次就3-4分钟。这台机器配置很低，单核
的intel cpu, 4g 内存. 但最近机器坏了，用不了。 而且我需要多台机器。
放狗搜没搜多说相关信息。 想问问微软的童鞋们，这个system restore 的时间
跟 哪些因素有关呢？ windows 7 是不是会快些呢？ 我把系统盘减到很低的空间，好

这两个是System最好的会议，每两年开一次，轮流开，比如今年是SOSP，明年就是OSDI
。这两个会议equally good，如果真要说有什么区别的，OSDI更侧重于实现，但这样的

范围相当广，近几年network的文章很多。和architecture community相比，system有自

来这里问一下。家里的Windows计算机system locale设成Chinese PRC, 这样去中国网
站很方便，不过Microsoft Office 12 default font 成了宋体，也不知怎么把它改回
来。
试着将locale 换成English US, everything is OK. 但是一改回来就不行。Office自
身带的Language Settings 一点都不起作用

Whether this means someone else want to break into my computer system?
I share the internet connection with several renters and the owner family in
a big family house.
The internet connection hub is in the owner's room.
I use windows XP SP3 system and use the firewell of the windows XP system, I
don't have an anti-virus softwave.
Is there any free or very cheap anti-virus softwave can pretect my computer
system from break-in?
