对我而言，我的经验就是fight speeding ticket不是去为自己辩护的（大部分没上过
庭的中国同学的误区），而是去attack警察的证词以及证据的。因为当你指出了警察
statement或affidavit中的问题，他的charge就会被质疑，那么prosecution lacks a
foundation。
首先，遇到speeding ticket，能fight尽量fight，因为这是moving infraction，是会
报到dol加入你的driving record，大部分情况下可能会影响你的保险，那就不是100来
刀的问题，而是将近几百刀甚至1000刀的了。而且如果你相信你确实没超速，或者说警
察夸大了，更要contested hearing了。
其次，首先联系prosecution agency 来request discovery，这个很重要，因为

事。。。前前后后一共四次才在朋友的帮忙下办理了下来，希望写下来能对以后有需要
的朋友有所帮助。
我们住在ohio，只能去纽约办理（好像每年大使馆也会去各州办理）。只有母亲带着孩
子去的，我工作原因去不了，所以要写委托书，官网上没有任何对委托书的说明。所以
这里写下来我们最终可以用的版本以借参考。
需要notary public写公证并盖章签字，notary 去银行就可以找到。公证用一页纸就可
以了（如果两页，必须公证人两页上都要签字，为了避免麻烦最好还是一页，以免出现
不必要的麻烦），上面一定要写上孩子的中文名字，和申请书里的要一致。签字的时候
要当着notary的面签字才可以。

五名推荐人来自亚欧美。两名独立推荐人中一人引用过申请人文章，另一人是导师同行
。申明满足常规三项：文章，贡献及审稿。文章二十篇（一作及合作），发表期刊最高
影响因子近3。引用两百余次，包括自引，来自18个国家地区。评审文章五十次。没有
关于成果的新闻报道，也无任何个人奖项及项目申请。申请书中的贡献基于发表文章中
的结果。能发表的结果总有一定新意，所以大家应都有发掘潜力。材料积累花了一些时
间，尤其是引用数和评审文章。努力争取并认真评审相信能把评审数目做好，会议审稿
也有帮助。与编辑来往的邮件（邀请审稿，审稿收到等）应备份。同行询问实验，数据
等邮件也可备份。
2月提交140，一个月后申请pp，之后一周内TSC批准。曾请英国IOP旗下期刊Publisher

2013.01.24 收到短信更新，赶紧查网上 I-485 and I-765已经批了，131还没动静，
什么意思？不过已经不重要了。
我准备的材料都是精简版，只按485 官方instruction里面的要求办理，和很多同胞面
面俱到的态度不同。比如，485作为主申请人的材料里结婚公证就没放，因为不make

statement，还需要file form 601（Application for Waiver of Grounds of
Inadmissibility）解释已经不是党员了么？
