明：
ICM2014一小时大会报告共邀请了21位数学家，其中美国10位，法国3位，英国2位，
日本、韩国、瑞士、比利时、加拿大、意大利等国家各1位。
美国10位被邀请做一小时报告的数学家中，有5位是来自俄罗斯和东欧（匈牙利、捷
克）的数学家，目前都在美国一流大学（麻省理工学院、加州大学伯克利分校、普林斯
顿大学等）任职，还有3位分别来自伊朗、法国和英国。有2位在麻省理工学院、加州大
学伯克利分校任教的数学家（Alexei Borodin和Vera Serganova）都毕业于莫斯科大学

人力资源管理顾问ECAInternational制作的该排行榜评估全球450个城市的气候、医疗
服务可负担程度、住房、基建、人身安全以及空气质量等因素，综合得出城市的宜居程
度。调查发现，香港的吸引力下降16个位次，跌至第33位，同属亚洲区的主要竞争对手
新加坡在全球及亚洲区均排名榜首。
最近几个月的“占领运动”令社会及政治气氛紧张，影响交通和市民生活，令香港在社
会政治的得分下降。香港的政治不稳定性可能还会影响未来排名，与新加坡的差距越来
越大。与此同时，法国里昂证券的一份消费者研究报告称，日本和法国将取代香港成中
国内地游客的最爱。
香港《南华早报》23日称，里昂证券的一份消费者调查咨询约400名内地游客，其中约
4成游客表示“占中”对他们造成某种影响。报告预计，香港从2013年到2020年的游客
总体增长只有4%，香港对内地游客态度转趋冷淡，是导致内地游客将舍弃香港改而前赴
日本、法国、韩国和英国旅游的原因之一。

行榜。对在欧美的外派雇员来说，多伦多是最适合居住的城市。
ECA每年所进行的城市排名调查客观分析一系列的生活环境因素，以评估全球超过四百
五十个地区的整体生活质素。评估的生活环境因素包括：气候、医疗服务、住房及公用
事业、隔离程度、社交网络与娱乐设备、基础建设、个人安全、政治气氛以及空气质素
等。
报告指出，多伦多位居北美榜首，得益于她良好的空气质素、稳定基建、合适的医疗配
套、低犯罪率及低健康风险等因素。
排第二的则是爱尔兰首都都柏林，空气、基建、低犯罪率，都是该城市吸引北美外派雇
员的重要原因。
其他上榜的加拿大城市包括：温哥华（并列第三）、渥太华（并列第三）、蒙特利尔（
第十四位）等。
普遍认为最难适应居住和工作的地区则是阿富汗的拉什卡尔加和坎大哈，该地区紧张的
局势令很多北美公司外派到那里的雇员心中惴惴不安。此外，这两个地方与北美的距离

I wouldn't consider life in Switzerland stands for live in europe. (no
affense to friends here working in switzerland. I almost went there as well)
. For most europeans, switzerland is not europe at all. Working pressure and
suicide rate of switzerland tops all other european countries. Buying power
of swiss is lower than germany. Swiss people are very cold and racies.
For the rest of EU countries, I think the main advantage comparing to US is
less work pressure (perminant job contract with 3-6 |

there:
1. Swiss Work Permit, and
2. Swiss visa
The consulate will only issue you a Swiss visa once your Swiss work permit
application is approved in Switzerland. The process of the work permit
should be taken care of for you by the company offering you a job in
Switzerland. They shuold ask you for some information though. Once the work
permit is approved in Switzerland, the authority in Switzerland will enter
