我今天就我所知道的surgical technologist & surgical first assistant作一介绍。
surgical technologist & surgical first assistant， 顾名思义就是在手术室工作
的技术员和手术第一助手。surgical tech 主要工作像国内的器械护士，为即将到来的
手术准备器械和一切可能需要的用品，当然每个医生事先有preference card在电脑里
，你只要根据每个手术的不同稍作改变就行，再就是手术开始后递器械，清点所有的用
品，手术后包扎伤口等等。Surgical first assistant, 和surgical tech比起来，更
像surgeon's assistant, 主要任务是暴露手术野，止血，缝合伤口等（完全在外科医
生指导下工作，但没有决定权和处方权).手术室也有不少护士，但大部分是做巡回护士
，她们大部分没有任何手术相关的训练，所以他们不能做surgical tech/surgical

assistant。 他以前是古巴的内科医生。
据他讲surgical assistant的入门条件很低。 如果你有国内的行医经历，只需通过一
个考试， 很简单的考试。前提是有绿卡，不需要身份。
大家可以参考surgical assistant的官方网站。
很感叹当年我不知道这样的信息。要不然就不需要费那么多的周折了。 |

NO, only for green card holder for this kind of programs.
绝大多数学校不行，少数学校为了赚钱，可能接受国际学生。
自己去你家附近的认证的学校面谈，这个学校是你自己能开车去的，不是离开你家
很远的。这个事情是别人无法替代你做的。你在家里等着，任何信息不会从天而降。
美国那么大，实际上与你相关的只有一小片，你开车能去得了的地方，别的与你一律无
关。
无论申请学校，申请工作岗位都如此。
很多人问，我是文盲，我中英文无法交流，无法阅读。你告诉我一切细节，这样的话无
人能帮你。也无人愿意在版面上分享经历。你永远不会得到任何信息。 |

invasion. organ confined.
然后做微创腹膜外前列腺移除术。出院书上写biopsy Gleason=3+3, Capsule (
probably inside) and perineural invasion is observed. No apparent sign of
vascular invasion.
术后我让爸妈问医生surgical margin怎么样。医生说由于手术是周日，病理室不开门
，没有做。
我很无语。不开门就不做。我们实验室小老鼠的organ保存好久都可以拿出来做。而且
出院书上不是写了biopsy结果了吗？
现在想请教大家，现在距手术已经有24天。如果这个前列腺还在医院某个角落的话，还
可以拿出来做surgical margin吗？
