在来美国的前一天晚上和程老师吃饭的时候，师兄告诉我们程老师下午发的博客已经
上科学网首页了，但当时也只有40多个回复而已，我们也没有在意，毕竟程老师的博文
经常上科学网首页。当晚我们并没有继续讨论我工作选择的事情，而是像往常一样随便
侃了侃，甚至还讨论了点学术问题。回宿舍以后我还跟几个好友开玩笑的说“哥出名了
，上科学网首页了”。但没想到的是，我真的出名了，第二天我下飞机开了手机以后，
短信不断。这几天很多朋友、同学、实验室老师、甚至毕业后就一直没有联系过的本科
辅导员都纷纷对我表示关心，或支持我的决定，或劝我重回科研道路，不管怎样，我都
很感动，在这里先向他们的关心表示感谢。当然也还有几位记者发邮件过来要采访。我
本来不想回应，想继续沉默下去的，但是程老师说他认为这个事情的讨论对许多年轻博
士生是有好处的。仔细想一想，这也许是我这个科研逃兵在离开前能对科研界做的最后

之地读书，想俺们这地一年有6个月冬天，－30也甚为常见，估计骑自行车是没啥戏了。
今年三月购入超市车一辆，本打算在小区内锻炼使用，骑了大概两三次后发现实在没有
时间和合适的地点骑，锁入shed，积灰。
八月偶然发现工作的大楼内有自行车停车场与洗澡间， 城里有seperate自行车道， 从
家直通公司。单趟大约16公里， 骑行时间1小时，和public transit的时间差不多，遂
觉的可以考虑骑车通勤。
本锁男待了6年的苦寒之地，公司大多集中在河谷，本人住宅到公司有大约有两个50m高
度差的大坡，所谓早起冲大坡，晚归上大坡是也。超市车全铁制照，实乃锻炼利器也，
不堪重负，9月购入road bike＆hybrid 各一辆，如此happy
这两天要下雪了，借宝地一问，有人用过studed tire 没有？是否需要购入？

第三篇：慈心念
慈心念的在修行中最重要修行之一。我个人认为，慈心念，安般念，身心受念住，应该
是初学者修行的三个支柱。佛法修行中，除了以解脱为目的的念住修行是佛家独有外，
其他的业处在别的入世宗教中都可能会有类似的方法。所以，有人如果认为“ 慈心念
”类似基督教里祷告，我也赞成。慈心禅练习的内容我已在第二章安般念的前方便中讲
过，此处不在赘述。一般我会在安般息念前，睡前做全套练习。平时则只以柔软慈爱的
心态祝福境遇所缘“快乐智慧无烦恼”或“福慧圆满”。佛法里对慈心禅作用有明确定
位。根据心法及心所法我们还可以对慈心禅的法理进行推测。
对于念住修行的“观禅”，作为“止禅”的“慈心念”和“安般念”所培养的定力是必
不可少的。慈心禅的独特作用还表现在他是在“轮回”中最好的保护法之一。我们知道

couple of interviews, such as microsoft, google, ibm, etc., but did get any
offer. He has also applied for some research labs and finance companies, but
just cannot get a job. Seems that he tried quite hard - he did not do any
research in one semester - kept applying for jobs and giving interviews. I
