估计那个人首先考察的就这一点。
面试中这种binary search的题目，看起来简单，有许多细节需要认真考虑，忽略掉任

still like to share some experience.
1. I had 5 technical interviews instead of 4 as HR told me in the email
confirmation. So be prepared to changes. Also get good rest it is a long
battle!
2. Questions are not terribly hard, just basic algorithms and data
structures, but tricky. My suggestion is when get stuck, try to think of
some properties you might missed.

开关的混水阀被水诟 stuck 不动了。原因：不常用。
1，撬开板手中的小cover.
2, 拧下中心的螺丝，拔下扳手。你可看到冷热水开关。
3，用螺丝刀关上两边的冷热水。
4，中心的混水阀有个卡子，铜的。用尖嘴钳子拔下来。应该是往上拔。注意，别把卡
子掉墙里。
5.用钳子慢慢把混水阀拔出。
6. 使劲 shake 混水阀，里面应该有东西动的声音。若没声，那是 stuck 住了。你可
把混水阀拆开清洗，或买个新的混水阀 from HD.
7. 按原样装回去。

Go outside to check to see if water is coming out.
If coming out very slowly, something could clog the pump or pipe.
If no water is coming out the float could be stuck or bad.
After you unplug, here a little water running back is normal, hear that for
long time is not, most likely your check valve is bad or stuck, so large
amounts of water in the pipe is running back.

clothing like sock stuck in the turbine.
Start take it a part and find out, about 8-9 screws total.
Cost me $110 to learn this lesson, the stuck sock in my Samsung dryer sure

我的性格不是太适合做管理，不太善于和人打交道，不太会看人选人。所以肯定不会去
读MBA的。但是我也知道不做管理只做技术的话不太有出头之日。
mm说的这些我会去好好了解一下，看看有没有什么比码工更好的选择。毕竟做码工还是
辛苦啊。
不过像我和朋友聊天的时候聊到的，做码工stuck在技术员了总比做生物stuck在技术员
了挣得多，呵呵。 |

1. Read actively (do no read passively).
2. Read "lean but adequate stock of facts and techniques that
will allow you to get started on most problems" 就大致够了，可以
做下面的（3）。
3. The others you should prove on your own, as essential exercises
(not problems) to master the material.
我按照普通娃的特点修改一下（3）：对于普通娃而言，至少是试图自己先 work
on problem 哪怕一点点也好，如果 stuck 的话，看答案找点 hint 继续 work
on，而不是立马全盘照抄记忆。如果再 stuck 的话，如法炮制，直到能解出以及
理解答案。

I am a victim of name check, with I485 filed in Jan. 2003 and name check
started months later. The name check was stuck at FBI for over three years,
with no progress even after the senator's office contacted FBI at my
request.
It's been proved, yet again, that lawsuit seems to be the only way to solve

我是请律师的，英文太烂，还有其他事情，所以就请律师了。可是自己还是draft了9封
推荐信（律师只提供模板）。律师写的petition letter。当然也是全来自于推荐信和
提供的资料。翻来覆去改了几遍。
实在没有backup资料，我递进去的东西已经是倾尽所有了，要是RFE，真不知道该怎么
办，所以没有pp。还是等吧。。。这种煎熬不是一般的痛苦。
来美8年，回国3次，两次北京签证被check，第一次leave for absence for one
quarter, stuck in China for almost three months. 第二次被check，stuck in
China for two months. 另一次签证是去墨西哥签的，也是冒着必死的决心去的。。。
谁让我学这倒霉专业呢(Biochemistry)
办绿卡也只不过是想回国方便一些，常看看父母和姥姥。办不成就回国了。 |

版上现在5月通过绿是多少？我印象中 只有5个左右绿了，通过率也就10%左右，
我的扫号区段（RD17-21号左右），通过率要远远低于35%。
另外，扫号的问题是不知道那些是EB的485，
我一直觉得有些485几天就绿了，肯定类别和我们不一样。
所以五月的平均值35%，不能说明EB based 就能达到35%。 |

我再给你看个照片
首先，roomba不会旋转着前进，它可以走弯线，但它一般不走弯线，而是走直线，碰到
障碍物后就原地旋转，randomly换一个方向继续走直线，所以roomba不会挨着墙平行着
走，因为它探测不来墙的方向。即便它会和墙平行着走，roomba下面有两个轮子，吸口
在两个轮子的中间，离边缘还有一段距离，所以离墙至少有大概2－3个inch的地方
roomba都吸不到。。。继续即便，即便roomba可以沿着墙走，到了墙的转角处，也吸不
到墙角，因为roomba是圆的。。
roomba巨傻的。。。我自己吸地总会吸得很彻底，把家具都移开所有地方都吸到，我想
roomba很小自己吸地应该就不用我去移动家具了，因为它自己知道到处钻。。。。。可
相反，它一旦跑到一个家具下面，就经常stuck在下面出不来，例如一个单人沙发或者
side table下，四条腿离得不是很的那种，它走一走，碰到一条腿，换方向，又碰到腿
，又换。。。。。直到它更好瞄准了空间才能出来，但不一会又stuck在另外一个... 阅读全帖 |
