尾Party Animal一枚, 五光十色什么不喜欢?
年纪大了注重的东西自然不同, HOUSE是不是大, 是否有草坪湖景, 送孩子去好学校是
不是容易, 吃个中餐, 朋友聚会是不是方便, 大SHOPPING MALL 开个车也就到了. 年
纪一把谁会整天玩那些花里胡哨的?
鉴于过来人的经历, 俺完全可以肯定的说, 在NY 如果没啥钱, 绝对过不上高品质生活. |

Bostonian. People say they can be arrogant or cold somehow (dont know
anything about stubborn or unreasonable) but I found them quite OK during my
stay.
As to individual experience, I waived two parking tickets by writing letters
to them (when you are poor, you will do anything to track every penny), one
from the campus police dept, the other from the city police dept.

这种家长在palo alto 真的是一大把啊, 对孩子看的很严格的那种类型.当母亲的都有
这么作的, 那是怕小女儿学了不该学的
语言或者行为.
有的kids睡觉晚, 11点都不一定上床, 而法定9点以后就可以播限制级movie了.
李开复家以前在los altos hills的时候就这样. 他哪里变态或者跟咱不是一类人了?
清华毕业的学物理的同学家也这样, 还有
一个学社会学的老美家里也这样. 这些例子还都是当妈的主动提出来的. 管孩子的方
法不同, 有些人家里电视就是个摆设.
自己觉得电视不是问题的, 不等于别人家也这么easygoing |
