error message that "Cannot connect to the MSN server, please check your
internet connection" while my internet connection is good and I can go online
with IE. It is really really strange. Someone knows why? |

I have a CGI which is no longer work. When I execute it within cgi-bin, it
gives me segmentation fault.
I didn't find anything wrong. But I recompiled it. I then found out the same
program runs fine anywhere other than in cgi-bin directory. But whenever I
put it into cgi-bin directory,it gives segmentation fault error. My other cgi
in the same cgi-bin directory run |

I asked my colleague to change all files/folders under a folder to
accessible by all.
I asked her to do chmod 777 -R AAAA/
she said she did,
but i found one folder AAAA/bbb/ccc still not changed, while all files under
that folder has been changed to "777' mode. Why is that?
because she lied ?

However, I can't execute it by typing "wget", even I am under "/usr/bin".
I can run everything else under /usr/bin though.
For wget, I have to use ./wget to execute it.

implemented 9 of them.
But when I play with these different defintions using R, I got some strange
results. For example, if a data set has values 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. The 89
percentile is 9.01. (type 7 with Wiki definition or R).
Anyone could enlighten me? |

accident into a crime is not a smart decision to be made by normal people in
normal society.
Of course, in strange places, where strange rules apply to a certain strange
section of population, and if I was part of that section, then my decision
