If bloody diarrhea, maybe ibd, although unlikely for her age.
If black stool, then she needs workup, especially if she is not taking any
NSAIDs, and iron pills. |

不能因为最后是胃癌，胃癌可能又便血，stool occult blood可能会阳性，就现在来质
问医生当时为什么没有查stool.
医生是根据主诉症状加体检来决定需不需要test.
我想他的医生会说根据当时临床表现，首先考虑最象stomach flu, spicy food caused
, GERD 等，这些不需要检查.如果不见好转，以后follow up再继续查别的。可惜这位
病人lost follow up.
俺觉得他当时很有可能就已经胃癌肺转移了。
俺是board certified,但不是消化科的，所以不会和你解释什么时候做stool test.俺
们过敏科，不是每个病人即使有主诉症状，也不是都做skin prick test, CAPRAST
test, or food challenge test的。基本上是由病史和体检决定differential
diagnosis和该做什么样的检查。 |

get up 3am, 5am etc. wait for his watery poo (I can hear him going) and
clean his feet so we don't sleep with cat poo.

专家。

。我感觉医生列的是常见的代谢病，而我们感觉宝宝吃长链脂肪酸似乎是慢性中毒，大
概需要一个月左右才能体现出来。因为过程很慢，我们怀疑很多方法查不出来。

CASE 5： 27 YO female, 3 months of alternating diarrhea and constipation，
irritable bowel syndrome。 UW的解释是先order一堆检查，CBC,BMP, TSH, ESR,
stool for WBC, stool culture，没有给治疗直接约一周后的appointment， 一周后
给治疗。我的疑问是为啥不当天做完stool for WBC 后直接给治疗呢，反正就是常
规的，比如high fiber diet, laxtose free diet, patient counsel...是担心有
别的病？等排除以后再治疗？
CASE 6：depression的case，这个正相反，没有等TSH/B12等结果出来就给药治疗了。
我感觉可以先suicide counsel，如果病人没自杀倾向，那就等两天排除了别的问题
再给药。
是不是我的思路有问题？ |

其实厨房还没有 finish。这一块，头续多，工作琐碎，花得心思多，反而还有不少 美
中不足的心病等着 fix。版上有姐妹想看，就也秀出来了。顺便听听建议。
before －
原来的厨房，一看就是二三十年前的装修。几个 keywords：白色小磁砖，厚重的陶瓷
sink，陈旧的橱柜，老式的顶灯。。。都是必须要重做的。
而且，抽油烟机装在island 正中，老式厨房的顶本来就矮，只有7尺半，弄这么个庞然
大物，把什么都block了，一眼看着就难受。
地上铺的磁砖，我也不喜欢。 厨房 跟 family room 是整体打通连贯的，我喜欢从地
面感觉上也是连贯通畅的，况且我一直以来习惯了厨房用地板，温馨一点。只要勤打扫
就好了。
构想 －
首先决定改变结构，想把 range hood 挪到厨房侧面，这样管道也要改一下，跟
contractor 沟通了一下， 看看了房檐和外墙，他说没问题。
这样 Island 就变得更加 visible 了 ，灶台移走了，island 从面积上讲也会更实用

3B - FINDING - Fungus damage to wood members beneath stall shower. Standard
water test indicates that the base of the stall shower is leaking. Base of
stall shower leaks when standard water test is applied.
RECOMMENDATION - Break out and remove the entire existing stall shower.
Remove and replace fungus damaged framing members. Install a new shower pan

positive test,
seems you had an anoscope, didn't show any anal fissure or hemorrhoid which
could be the cause of bleeding, thus the referral for further evaluation, |

she still has problems, try stool softner + stimulant (sena).
If she does not take enough fiber, try to use miralax with enough water, or
the fiber supliments with enough water to give her enough bulking agents. |

我第一次肛裂去看了医生，给开了stool softner，还要我每次大厕所之后要温水坐浴
，而且还给开了vitamin A+D的ointment。我当时怀疑是痔疮，不过医生排除了那个可
能性。
之后有朋友告诉我说prume juice很有用，我去试了试，果然对排便很有帮助。后来因
为病情反复发作，我对prune juice的依赖性越来越强，而prune juice对我的作用就越
来越弱了。Dried plum我也有吃。Stool Softner也吃过，不过instruction上说这个不
能多吃，如果连续几天而情况没有好转的话，好象是说得停药。
如厕后温水坐浴我也是只要有条件就坚持做了。不过大部分情况不是很有条件做这个。
另外我平时是坐的时间比较多，我现在比较注意了，一般隔一会儿就站起来走走，再加
上狂喝水，所以隔一会儿就得去趟洗手间。
不知道这样是不是还是不够？ 另外，有机会我就会去游泳，基本上每次游半个多小时
，每个星期两到三次。
但是情况没有什么好转，很显然我从一次性的肛裂变成慢性肛裂了。而且很多的时候我
的大便其实没有那么硬，甚至可以说还满柔软的，可是还是会给 |

blood in her stool(black stool), same as your dad's. She is taking Prevpac
right now. You also need to buy some iron containing pill for him to take at
the same time to maintain his red blood cell. Good luck.
Just FYI, 胃镜 costs ~$1,500. But hospitalization will cost much more. |

common causes of diarrhea is
lactose deficiency (high in asian), esp after drinking milk.
IBS, the bowel is sensitive to what you eat, sometimes it is associated with
stress, try to relax.
IBD, including crhon's and UC, esp when there is blood in your stool and
abdomminal pain. steroid may help.
Infection is another common reason, some kinds of GI infection are
specifically related to Chinese food, like fried rice, but in that case, no
bloody stool. |

you has hypoglycemia, I am you are a female.
you has abdominal pain, melena, tenesmus, and mucus in stool. roughly this
is not IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), should be IBD (inflammation bowel
disease, including crhon's disease and ulcerative colitis). You feel pain in
LLQ, and black stool which means upper GI bleeding. BOth upper and lower GI
are involved, I guess you have crhon's disease. Which there are many
possibilities. You need to see a doc for that, could be s |

He is right. Bleeding actually cause loose stool, instead of constipation.
Stool exam is not indicated in constipation.
