小公司一个，上市。每年有一定的stock options，允许以5刀的价格买5000股。前几天
公司CEO说现在的股价是10刀了，鼓励大家可以exercise stock options，然后卖掉赚
差价。
由于以前不了解，也一直没有行使过exercise stock options的权利，想买入前咨询一
下：
1）我现在可以行使2014的options，可以买了之后立马卖掉吗？
2）版上，网上查了半天，还是没有太明白。如果是行使2014的options，这个税是怎么
收的？40%的tax? 还有其他的费用吗？
3)这个交易是自己操作，还是需要trader操作？
4）要卖掉stock的话，是不是要自己开个账号？一般账号有什么限制吗？卖掉后就拿到
全部现金吗？还是必须以其他形式储存在账号一定时间？

发帖数: 83 | 2 未上市公司是不可能发给你RSU的，只可能是stock option
通常，stock option的定价，会在每次董事会开完后有更新，也就是说你上班后的第一
次董事会会给你的stock option定价；如果是上市公司，一般按照董事会当天公开股票
交易价格收盘价。
上班满一年后，可以excercise的股票就从0%突然变成25%，但并不一定需要exercise。
在这之后，每个月都有1/48的stock option可exercise。而买入这些股票需要的金钱就
是当初董事会定价的价格*你想买入的股数。
看你的情况是一个非上市公司，只有公司上市后；或者你想离开公司的时候需要行权（
当然，离开时如果你不看好这个公司，或者上市公司股票价格跌破行权价，就没必要行
权了），否则期权有效期内（一般10年），没必要行权。 |

你说的shares应该指RSU(restricted stock unit).
为了解释得容易些，我们指定一下今天的股价，$10.
如果你选100% RSU:
那么在公司指定的年份里（一般是3-4年），你会分批拿到
$10k/$10=1K RSU, 1千股属于你的股票，按今天的市值，
总值$10k.
如果你选100% stock option，按你说的公司政策，3倍，
也就是给你3000 stock option,分3-4年给。
3-4年之后，如果股价不变，你收获为0.
3-4年之后，如果股价低于$10，你收获为0.
3-4年之后，如果股价高于$10，你收获为差价x3k.
以上简单的假设你一直留着stock option不变现。
比如1年后股票翻到了$100,那么你可以变现1/4~1/3已经到手的
SO，每股赚差价$90.再过两年股票又回$10了，剩下的SO就不值钱了。
大致的意思你明白吧。
总而言之，跟你公司股票将来的变化强相关。
如果你认为公司很有潜力，股票在未来几年会大幅上扬，当然
选100% SO.

There are stocks ordinary people should stay away from like small chinese
stocks (DF, LDK, STP, RINO, BORN), Shipping stocks (drys, ocnf, prgn) weak
financials (bac, pmi, mbi...)

if you can identify a range market. oscillators are much useful.
not sure about stocks,
regarding futures. if you do range trading, it's extremely
inefficient unless you like scalping.
range has much smaller risk and reward, maybe it fits your
personality more.
no stock is forever range or trending.
to identify them is the first step. A stock could be in range
period, but it could be trending viewed in big/smaller time frame.

the current range. The more closer
it approaches to the ceiling, the higher risk it has. The basic assumption
is buying into support and selling
into resistance. Once a stock breaks out, it enters a new trading range,
which becomes another story.

stock go up 10%, you are still buying a bargain as you can't complain a
stock PE (forward PE) go up to 6! Still less to say 25% of the stock price
is cash and short term investment after the company pay bogus dividends for
years ($0.8/share quarterly dividends since Q1 2012).
This is a typical deep discount value investment, just like weed, hard to

UVXY的买卖和它自身的点位一点关系都不应该有。说设定在某个价位买，我不知道你们
是忽悠人还是什么的。

小公司一个，上市。每年有一定的stock options，允许以5刀的价格买5000股。前几天
公司CEO说现在的股价是10刀了，鼓励大家可以exercise stock options，然后卖掉赚
差价。
由于以前不了解，也一直没有行使过exercise stock options的权利，想买入前咨询一
下：
1）我现在可以行使2014的options，可以买了之后立马卖掉吗？
2）版上，网上查了半天，还是没有太明白。如果是行使2014的options，这个税是怎么
收的？40%的tax? 还有其他的费用吗？
3)这个交易是自己操作，还是需要trader操作？
4）要卖掉stock的话，是不是要自己开个账号？一般账号有什么限制吗？卖掉后就拿到
全部现金吗？还是必须以其他形式储存在账号一定时间？

some real disasters happen (such as a flash crash), the market should be
slowly
bouncing back in next few weeks. Dump everything if the market could reach
203, which could be the last chance to exit market safely for the next 2
