speculations.
Pro: ranking, especially if you are interested in finance, banking, luxury
goods, marketing, etc; NYC life and diversity; location and the businesses
around there.
Con: long drive (but I have a classmate that travels from Boston every week)
; limited networking;
PTers can participate FTer's campus recruiting but you have to earn it
through a specially designed program, which you can see as downside. Hope

申请的初衷是因为不想一直做technical jobs,希望通过MBA换到一个更贴近front
office business的工作
纠结的地方；
1. 三年的tuition要11万多，而且听说part time的career service比full time差很多
2. 我现在的工资比Stern full time MBA的employment report里的average salary要
高一点，不知道读了part time MBA以后工资能不能有满意的涨幅
3. 目前不在NYC，如果要读书的话还涉及至少三年的weekly commute .... -_-|||
知道这个版上大牛很多，想听听高手们的意见。先拜谢了~~~ |

这个高，那就是有15万？
如果你有15万，且想以后更高saying 18万以上，那parttime MBA的效果确实要考虑（
考虑到3年时间＋11万学费） |

是按照industry分的（后半部分有按照job function的分类），按照industry分类，IB
就是投行相关的所有职位的统计。对于lz而言这个参照也更合适。
华人里面，类似coding or math背景出身有了几年相关工作经验，然后读MBA然后去做
IBD associate拼体力的，我一个都没见过

我现在假设全是IBD，这个也不一定的。
2 MS的IBD associate是14年涨的base， 1st yr 125K，此前比这个低。bonus数字确
实要看组/年份。认识不少IBD的朋友，这个信息还是清楚的
3 Stern的数字我加了base还有bonus，signon没有加，因为是one time thing。而且比
如IB我的理解是基本很少signon，这个40K的signon不知道是针对什么subset统计的
4 美国本土的人读了MBA和外来的非英语环境长大的华人读了，对IBD来说是两回事情。
H将近1000的MBA里面，300多非美国，估计有100华人，这100人肯定不会都想IBD。你要
说这100华人想找这几个大行的IBD都能找到，那真的speachless 。。。

recently the Knicks have played the Mavericks, Spurs, Celtics and Heat, not

对，这篇1997年的nature paper，列在第一位的yan shidu其实是唯一的通讯作者，列
在最后一位的本该是通讯作者的David Stern其实就是当时部门里的大牛。估计情况就
是David Stern是大老板，但是对这个project其实没啥贡献，然后是作为通讯作者的
Yan shidu是小老板，带领Fu Jin等一干人做出来的，才会有这样奇怪的authorship。
这样看来，Fu JIn实质上是真正干活的第一作者，凭这样一篇nature paper获得博士
也就没啥稀奇的了。Fu Jin是1999年拿的博士，1997年的paper正好对景。
凭什么方肘子要看学位证明人家就亮给这个傻逼看啊。他家菊花不是都拒绝出示学位证
明吗？人家Fu Jin教授把学位亮给学校看就好了，气死方教主及其教徒们！

然后在哥大的大老板手下做了小老板，
找了同是福建医学院89年毕业的Fu J做了她的tech./postdoc.
SD Yan的确做得不错，Fu J干活应该也不错，但哥大的博士学位应该是没有的。
连SD Yan都只是说自己是哥大postdoc，Fu J就敢说自己是哥大博士。
区别就在一个在美国，一个在中国。
另外一点就是SD Yan应该在福建科研界有些影响，所以Fu J的问题也可能会不了了之。

从网上找到此文，如此触目惊心。美国的老板大概50%以上都是以欺压员工为乐的恶人！
女老板和男老板各占一半。文章告诫和老板斗几乎没有成功的可能。 人事部门也不会
帮员工，因为人事部门的职责是保护公司不受到法律纠纷的困扰。
84% 被老板欺负的员工是女性，这些人一旦被盯上82% 失去工作。
这些调研机构也给不出好的办法保护员工，也是告诫碰上这种恶人，或者走人，或者把
工作做好忍受，尽量避免被恶人盯上。

今天终于杀到湖边过瘾哈哈。先说问题最后再发鱼图哈哈。
最近虽然一直没时间钓鱼，但是抽空整理了一下tackle box，归了归类，把一些生锈的
钩子换掉，另外把一个bc轮子和一个spining轮子都换了新线，以前我是万年mono，都
是去年5毛钱一卷淘换来的triline和stern，今天鸟枪换炮，spining 上了seaguar
inviz 8lb FC, bc上装了20lb的832，都用的stern打底。 总结了几个疑问想看看大伙
有什么建议：
1.关于打底线
我买了dicks里面5块钱500yd的10lb线准备打底的，我的确是按照网上视频的方法上的
线，线盘出线方向和我轮子转的方向一致，结果根本不行，装到spining轮子上一松手
就往外弹，我简直都崩溃了，只好拆了全用成stern， 发现stern虽然线径宽，但是质
量比器那些便宜线是好多了。 想问问大家用什么线打底，另外遇到这种线有什么处理
方法？
2.关于double uni knot
我用这个结把底线和主线绑在一起，bc上没有问题，可是在spining上，一边是stern

从福建医学院83年毕业的SD Yan去了美国（哥大？），做了postdoc，
然后在哥大的大老板手下做了小老板，
找了同是福建医学院89年毕业的Fu J做了她的tech./postdoc.
SD Yan的确做得不错，Fu J干活应该也不错，但哥大的博士学位应该是没有的。
连SD Yan都只是说自己是哥大postdoc，Fu J就敢说自己是哥大博士。
区别就在一个在美国，一个在中国。
另外一点就是SD Yan应该在福建科研界有些影响，所以Fu J的问题也可能会不了了之。
