发帖数: 823 | 6 K上了一阵子后，小海龟游回中国了。单语环境对于语言迟钝娃确实有益，半年以后上
小学的时候，他的中文已经可以使其在学校生活中正常function了。虽说其人在口语交
流中，获取的信息量依然有限，但咱step by step吧。至于英文，英文是个神马东西？
俺娃表示完全不知情。他一年级时，英语老师有时上课还把小美国人单独拎起来，试图
用他练练自己口语，哈哈，娃妈一想就知道，他老师铁定要失算嘛。二年级起，英文考
试分数就70-90之间摆。可是一半人都能得100分的考试。
国内期间，娃妈我才懒得管双语的事。反正回国的目的之一就是把中文给白乎好了，这
事儿看起来能成。而且，显然因为语言的提高，思考和感受性也在丰富，社交也不错，
我已然满意了。即便全班50个人有30多个都在课外上英语班，即便他从学校学来的英语
听起来一口中国味儿，即便孩姥姥对我不管孩功课频频抛来白眼，我全当没看见。

不到2分钟，brooke的妈妈回信说：of course。她说她问了她女儿，女儿
swear并没有exclude anybody，她还说觉得孩子是innocent的，但是学校既然
说不能弄，就不弄了吧。
这个我是同意的，当初JJ还告诉我想游说别的几个女孩子加入她们的公司，这样
她们就可以多raise一些money，但是别的女娃都不感兴趣。 我给老师回信，说

我们家长会支持学校的决定，让她们不在学校搞这个。
晚上跟JJ谈了这件事，JJ还是很upset，并坚持她们并没有exclude别人，我只能
告诉她，在学校，就必须遵守学校的规定。于是，JJ的Dazzle Company，还没有
开业，就这样华丽丽得失败了！
之后家长会和老师提到这事，老师说其实并不是她们exlude别的小朋友，只是
每次recess她们4个在一起又热烈讨论，又拿着board在那里画hierachy structure

1. dial 1-800-375-5283
then select 1（English）-2（check status）-1 -- input receipt number，use
dial pad to input LIN xxxx -- 1 (confirm)--3 (report a problem with your
case)
2.电话接通的时候，对方语速会比较快，因为是call center嘛。首先你要说自己是I-
485pending， PD current， want to check the status.
我打的时候，对方说是pending，问要不要SR，我说不用，只是想知道background 是不
是complete。她就transfer我到另一个人。
3.transfer 被接通的时候就不象step 2 的人那样唱歌般的说话了。象是和人正常

上次听了众高人建议后去了local雪场练thousand steps，总觉得有些地方不对劲，跟
video里描述的区别很大，求教众高手/教练们：
我每次step uphill foot的时候都能感觉到整个板往山下倒，然后很快就flat了，step
downhill foot的时候都能感觉到板在推雪，这是不是说明我重心向山上倒得不够？ |

方向的，在那之前一点点将要落地，就可以了。对于不同的对手（是否动作隐蔽，有无
disguise），基于自己的预判能力，时机都会有所不同。另外不要把大部分精力用来
timing split step，这可能倒会影响对球路的判断。把split step变成一个下意识的

reasonable plausible way for me to ever show up in WSOP main event.
I found the structure of the steps very attractive, namely giving you more
chance to reclimb the ladder, and the fact that ppl are not familiar
satelite STT's (bubble strategies are different). hopefully with all the
rich fish/donks the competition is softer than usual as well.

谢谢各位童鞋对米发糕的喜爱。 原帖作品是大约3年前制作的了，所以很多童鞋来问我
细节，偶一时不知如何作答。再次实践并把图片记录下来，可能更直观一些。
方子还是那个方子，做法也还是那个做法。只不过里面的确有些注意事项没有讲到，非
常抱歉。这里弥补上。
配料：
水 3 cup
sugar 1/2 cup
粘米粉(rie flour) 3 cup
1、 上述材料混匀，里面的小疙瘩可以用手捏匀，然后把混合液倒入9.5inck non-
stick 蛋糕烤盘。
2、 平底锅里加水，把蛋糕烤盘放入水中，中小火，不断用筷子搅拌，
能感觉到盘底有一些阻力以后，关火，用筷子匀速搅匀直到感觉底部没有凝固物为止，再次开中火搅拌等出现面糊疙瘩了，关火。

所有的One step RT-PCR kit都不可能用gene specific primer来做RT这一步
都是用的oligodT之类的primer来做RT,然后在接着标准的PCR而已
只不过对Taq的要求高一点而已,需要HotStart Taq
user自己加入自己的specific primer for gene of interest.
整个mixture其实就是先RT在PCR, 一般Protocol都要求42度1小时RT,然后直接65赌灭活,再开始PCR的cycle.
我以前用过很多One-step RT PCR,如果不出条带一般是自己的引物的问题
至于One-step realtime PCR 没试过

estimator per se. Heckman model usually refers to the model which adjust
for selection bias or selectivity. There is so called Heckman two-step
estimator which is one way to estimate the model, but not the only one. In
fact, maximum-likelihood estimator is more efficient. I have not used it;

早就报名了，还指望能靠它多骗几个IV，但终于还是拖到了今天。面试季节浮躁静不下
来，幸亏KD拉我参加他们的study group才找到一些感觉。
准备step ３MCQ就看了premium review和UW q－bank。断断续续看了好久， premium
review就是study group同学们帮我过了一遍，自己在下面没有太系统看。从我考试经
过来看这两个应该能提供７０％左右的coverage。CK准备的好的同学看这两个就够了，
有很多CK甚至step１的内容。想考高分的去看angela说的那本family medicine的书吧
。我出来虽然知道自己能过，但有相当多的题要靠排除法。这可能解释了为什么我总是
那么疲于奔命。大多数block我都要战斗到最后一秒。当然大半年没做题也有点生锈。
为了省时间，我后来做uw的时候都用的tutor mode，看来不是个好主意。没有实战感觉。
另外没有试过新软件的同学别忘了做做usmle cd。我比较囧。虽然很喜欢新界面，还是
有两个意外。第一是tutorial section必须要完成那些试验选项 |

啥很好的复习资料而CCS相对容易，短期内有挺大的提高。初步打算是：MCQ部分，
看一遍STEP 2 CK VIDEO，看一遍CRUSH STEP 3，然后做UW QBANK。 CCS部分，先看
看SHAHER's CD，Neeraj's note，然后看UW的CCS cases。 Angleahan推荐的family
practice examination &Board Review好像挺好但很厚，没时间就不看了。目标是
85分，明年4-5月份考，可行不？ |

我去年就是没赶上九月初之前报名， 当时也以为反正要2010考了，就松懈了很多。。
后来九月底拿到ECFMG certificate，一个印度考友告诉我赶紧报名，虽然名义上是
2011年度的考试， 但实际考试日期最早可以是11月初， 比如当时我要求的是起始11月中旬
， 后来我的eligibility period就是直到3月1号（因为刨去了一月初有两个星期考试
中心都关门）。 所以九月初和九月底报名step3， 虽然名义上是不同年份的考试，最
后真正应试及出成绩可能反倒九月底的先考了，虽然报名是2011 step3, 但可
能2010年底就拿到成绩了(我的印度考友就是这样， 她当时也必须如此， 因为印度人很多是拿J1，H1 visa, 我印象中， H1 是必须在match或者更早， submit ranking list前有step 3 成绩的； 办过H1 的可以confirm 一下）
step3 有时间的话， 一定赶紧考，病理申请有step 3 是大大加分的，尤其是一些比较
好的program； 申请内科的， step 3 尤其CCS 部 |

step 3 score before and during residency application, I just want to see

step 1 once and got double 99ers afterwards. GY>10. CS first time and 87 in
step 3. 3 mos USCE. 150 IM/FM No IVs so far. Any advice. |
