Copper Mountain
Location is right next to Highway I-70, with free and frequent shuttle goes
right to the base. It has the easiest access for large ski resort.
Terrain has black, blue and green runs separately laid out, which is easy to
navigate. It has probably the best green runs in Colorado. It is also
family friendly with lots of place to eat and stay.
The bad side is that a lot of young kids like to go there, and some of them

前两天写了King Tut展览，算是第一集吧。昨天有去走了一下湾区有名的Steep Ravine
to Stinson beach loop。从地图
上看，这个hike可以分成两部分。逆时针的话先走Matt Davis trail 4哩左右，1500
feet的下坡到Stinson beach，回来是

爬坡的话，掌握好换档和踏频，通常座着骑更有效率。我们这个小岛，据说没有真正需

好久没写什么东西了，近来觉着还是脚踏实地作出些实在的东西来有意义，瞎掰胡没什
么用，没什么太大意思。今天太太带小女去参加小女同学的生日party，自己在家没什
么事，夏末了，外面天气居然热，就在家写篇东西打发一下时间。阿里巴巴九月份大约
要在北美上市了，这大概是今年北美股市最大的事情，甚至有可能创造历史，成为有史
以来最大的IPO。我和阿里巴巴也曾有些八杆子打不着的缘分，当年阿里巴巴才几个人
的时候，我的一个在国内很有些关系的搭档，曾使劲推荐我去阿里巴巴作技术总监，但

就说这个高速收费吧，明明CHICAGO比土共还狠，可是五毛不看英语新闻，就不知道。
最近ILLINOIS这个收费的事争论的很厉害，IPASS最低收费从40C一下跳到75C，这个接
近100%涨价了。可是老百姓反对根本没戏。当然政府理由基本和土共一样的。但是
CHICAGO的几个着名小将是基本不开车不看/听英语新闻的，估计都是学校里的F1/J1，
所以这么好的素材都放过了。
75C还是IPASS最低收费，很多口DOUBLE都不只，最高是1.95刀。这是IPASS，CASH收费

从我家去OHARE机场，来回50MILE，合80公里，要过355，88，294的6个收费口，新的收
费标准，涨价后收费就要5到8块，和3，50块人民币了，这还是IPASS。CASH收费是
DOUBLE。估计最高可能要100块RMB了。
所以天下乌鸦是一般黑的。老美以前还好，现在DEM控制的蓝州，比土共还狠啊。

cities last month, despite zero job growth nationwide.
The Labor Department said Wednesday that unemployment rates dropped in 237
of the nation's largest metro areas in August from July. They rose in 103
and stayed the same in 32. That's an improvement from July, when rates fell
in 193 areas and rose in 118.
