卡。但周围认识的人基本上J1豁免之后都是转H1，所以他们的statement of reason上
都是写着project需要延续，希望能在回国效力之前在这里多学点之类的原因。可是我
接下去是准备申请绿卡，这样基本就表明不会回国呆两年的可能，这样我的statement
of reason应该怎么写？如果照实写进去会不会加大豁免的难度？或者我如果让老板写
个support letter，原因写成和转H1的一样，不把打算申请婚姻绿卡的原因写进去，他
们会查到吗？

前几天看到网上的党员RFE，也一直在忐忑不安，担心会被RFE。幸好顺利通过。这里我
提供一点自己关于写statement的心得。我参考了网上的模板，办理140的律师也提供了
一个模板，但是因为我入党时间早，同时出国时间不足5年，似乎这些模板不是太适合
我。后来我找到了另外一个模板（很抱歉找不到原文链接了，依稀记得是一个律师事务
所的pdf文件）。该模板的申请人是个党员，而且出国不足1年，所以原文主要是针对出
于就业目的非自愿入党来进行陈述的，也提及为什么没有退档是因为在国内公务员工作
必须的。我根据自己的情况也是从非自愿入党这点入手，强调成为党员是成为免试研究
生的先决条件。claim自己没有在党内承担重要职务，最后提出出国后没有缴纳党费，

终于觉得准备差不多的时候，看到了律师的样板，3-5页的personal statement，快崩
溃了。
再写3-5页，只能把推荐信内容往里凑合。就是直接告诉IO 推荐信也是自己搞出来的。
看起来都是近亲。
我还以为因为是通过律师申请，所以需要personal statement。下一步就是跟律师切磋
了。
话说，律师和律师差距挺大的。。。 |

我们的车过红绿灯口，我们的灯是绿灯，一个白人女闯红灯，撞上我们车的后半截，车
子一下子180度大转弯，直接吓傻了。还好人没事。当场，那女的就连连说sorry，解释
说她不熟悉路，没看灯就开过来了。警察也来了，了解了情况后，告诉我们，我们的损
失那女的保险公司会负责的。我们就认为事情很简单，没想到后来再也联系不上那女的
了，她的保险公司progressive说她拒绝做任何statement，即使有警察的report，他们
也没有办法帮我们修车或者赔偿，那女的要等court之后才能给statement。我们就很被
动，只能等。
本来court是周一开庭，但偏偏周一大雪，court关闭，现在需要那女的去重新schedule
court date和time。我们联系了自己的保险公司，他们能帮我们处理，但我们要付250
刀的deduction，觉得很亏。要联系律师的话，估计也很麻烦。不知道该怎么做比较好

Yes, you prepare the statement/letter before you go to the bank, and when
the bank officer ready to handle the Notarize your paper, then sign it in
front of that officer. Note: bank cashier does not do this, you need to
have the bank officer. Usually, in the bank, the person sit with desk are
officer :-) |

领馆要求在visa letter里面有medical, hospitalization and repatriation
expenses (the three words must be written) 我找了一家FrontierMEDEX，但是他们
提供的信里只有以下一些字眼：
Medical insurance
physician and hospital expenses
emergency medical evacuation
repatriation of mortal remains
和要求并不完全一样。我不知道法国领馆对这个的要求有多严格，还是说意思到了就可
以了？如果不行的话能否另外推荐一些符合要求的insurance company？我找了一些比
