(1) our 401K offer "SSgA Flagship 500 Index Fund" at expense ratio of 0.02%
(2) there are also target funds (e.g. 2040), and all carry expense ratio of
0.28%
(3) our "SSgA Russell 2000 Index Fund" carries expense ratio of 0.06%
(4) "SSgA MSCI EAFE Index Fund", 0.11% expense ratio (International index
fund)
(5) PTTRX, PIMCO Total Return, 0.47% expense ratio
it seems the expense is super low, I don't how how they did it.

I don't have experience with trading.
Since I am a beginner, I don't have a lot of money to start with. That is why I
want commission fee to be low or none.
I am interested in emerging market fund. I found this fund can get a big
gain if managed well. Right now I have SSEMX(SSGA Emerging Market) in my
401K. It does not charge transaction fee. My 401K broker is citi morgan
stanley financial assigned by my company.

对了，为啥Vanguard的500 index的管理费也要0.18%？我看其他的比如Spartan 500
index的管理费只要0.07%。SSgA S&P 500 Index Fund更低，0.02%. |

would be a great choice to pair with Vanguard Primecap to get exposure to
large cap value and growth. I am not familiar with hartford small Cap Growth
, but Hartford is a venerable firm.
If I were you, I would either put all money in one of the Vanguard Target
Retirement Fund, or build a protfolio with VG Primecap + VG Equity Income +
Dodge and Cox International + SSGA SMID Cap + Blackrock US Debt index |

meeting is the primary place for academic jobs, there are some job
opportunities for non-academic positions including governmental and industry
. I know Bank of Canada, Federal Reserve, Willington management, Vanguard,
SSGA and likes interview people there, but not IBs like GS, MS, LHM, BS, JPM
. Most of interviews are pre-arranged.
