，水耕，半水耕，浇水一星期，两星期，一个月。。。等等等等，施肥啊什么的，反正
谁发个贴，就去学，都不行，蝴蝶兰奄奄一息，或者彻底挂了。有没有更惨的啊？啊？
去年在图书馆一本很老的ORCHID书里一行很小的字让我醒过来：水啊，水本身啊！那些
网上大秀花美照的人，都是在东部，西部，南部，他们的水都是“软”水啊。我们在中
西部的同学，水质是硬的，种这种“酸性”花，就是先天不足啊，栀子花叶用自来水浇
后白蒙蒙的象DUST一层，掉蕾黄叶。兰花栀子又不能在常年在室外，不能雨水滋润。醒
过来就每次下雨去接几牛奶桶的雨水，雨水是天然微酸的，用它浇，搞定啦！雨水放一
年都不会坏。从此啊，什么酸性改良剂也不用加，兰花栀子的叶子绿绿油亮，栀子花一
个月后就开得喷香。夏天栀子去室外，让雨露滋润，兰花也挂在树影下吃雨露。终于兰
花也复花了，现在有三盆开了，还有3盆长箭呢。可惜新来，还不知如何贴图。照片也
是手机照，不贴也罢。如果是水苔，在室外连下雨几天还是太湿可能会烂根，树皮植料

一个总的theme就是，掠夺，杀戮，和消费的西方文明于和平，与世无争的东方佛教等
教义的一个冲突的各种不同形式的变奏
beg to differ。内容还是不错的，六个故事都非常好。
Adam Ewing的那个谈不上古英语，Herman Melville和Patrick O'Brian都是那个调调。
十九世纪很现代了。
但是六个故事的词汇却是非常的不同，根据体裁和年代，都非常贴切。
日记和书信都有些over elaborated，连剧中人物都怀疑这些个文本的真实性，其实这

Most people shoot deer at 20ish, the most long shot I heard is 40-45. The
most close deer I shot is within 10 yards. I had deer looking at me from 4
yards away without spooking it.
To get close and cheat a deer is the first of first you must learn for bow
hunting. |

Hiking 5 miles in wild place is too much, esp. in the dark. Can you use
other means, i.e. muzzleload, instead of archery? You can hardly get a shot
in this type of hunt. Surely, you don't want to miss it when the opportunity
is present.
If other means are not allowed, you may have setup and let the deer come to
you instead of chasing them in the wild. The final place you find may be the
