我一个WORD 文件不知道为什么 spelling check 出不来。(WORD 本身没有问题, 如果
另外打开一个空白文件乱打几个字都会有spelling check) 就是某篇正在打的特定文章
，里面只有 grammar check 标绿线了，红线全都没有。
我怀疑是这篇文章里有太多WORD 不认识的词（中文字词的transcript)，最后WORD就
自动不做 spelling check 了（因为如果做了会满篇都是 -- 记得以前碰到过这种情况
，WORD 跳出来提醒说不再做 spelling check了）
本来想忍忍算了，但是 non-native speaker 伤不起啊，经常都会有打错的字，自己
一下子看不出来。也不可能每个字都那么仔细去对有没有拼错。
有没有办法把这个spelling check 再给弄上啊。
BTW, 用的 mac 机器， Microsoft word 2010。 但我估计是这个文档的问题，换个电
脑应该也是这样。怎么办啊

每次点spelling都会出现如下信息：
The spelling program could not be started. Please make sure you have set the
correct spelling program and that it is properly configured and in your
PATH.
Google之后说是要在Kcontrol里面将spell checker设置成aspell
可问题是Ubuntu 8.10 里面没有Kcontrol了
不知道有没有人碰到过类似问题，是怎么解决的。 |

我的孩子上小学一年级，阅读还可以，至少老师说还可以，能读粗浅的chapter book,
读完可以理解里面的大部分内容。
但就是spelling很差，象remember这样规范的词都不会拼写。和老师也谈了几次了，老
师是建议多读书，希望见得单词多了，就记住怎么拼写了。但目前成效不大，读书的时
候见到单词会pronouce, 但放下书就不会spell了：（
大家有没有这方面的经验：怎么才能提高孩子的spelling能力？ |

education的孩子，尤其是小学的那个spelling bee冠军已经3连冠了，和我家孩子同学
校，听说是有Asperger，从不跟同学交流，也很少开口说话，就是对spelling bee有兴
趣。

check grammar as you type, and check spelling as you type are already
checked, but still not work. Probably because this word doc. is converted
from Latex. If I just type something in Word directly, grammar and spelling
check work as usual.

It only checks any grammar and spelling errors in tables and figures. I
think I may disable something so that it doesn't check errors in the body of
the document. Where should I find this option and change it. Thanks. |

中国妈妈，来到美国是享受伪贵族品味体验，逼孩子学钢琴，说句自恨的话，汉族是世
界上音乐细胞残留最少的种族之一，如果不是倒数第一的话。老印爸爸，不太在意自己
是从一个载歌载舞的国度过来的，到美国发觉也没啥资格标榜自己或许是高种姓，懒得
逼孩子提高西方古典品味了，但是和中国妈妈一样逼孩子业余学东西，逼什么呢?背字
典和看百科全书，够无聊的吧？反正业余时间就那么多，做什么都是跷跷板，一头少来
一头就多，而且谁家孩子也不见得是天才，概率都差不多。
结果就是，各种钢琴比赛上，都是ABC，总体上压过不仅老美孩子甚至压过东欧孩子；
spelling bee比赛，印度压倒优势，远胜美国本土几代说英语的孩子。当然到了成人，
ABC们也不弹钢琴了，印二代也不看百科全书这么浅薄的书了。猜猜看吧，是小时候弹
钢琴的还是小时候背字典的大了以后成功的概率大？ |

发帖数: 207 | 38 某一天，娃被娃爹从手里夺了个玩具。然后猛哭了几下，居然闷掉了。可以看出他还是
在哭的状态，但是就是没有声音了。后来很久都没有声音，我们开始还不以为然，１５
秒以后发觉苗头不对啊，好像无法呼吸的样子。２０秒以后人都开始微微发紫了，手脚
都不听使唤地微微抖动起来。全家都吓死了。又是掐人中，又是拍背，终于在后来的１
０秒左右恢复的哭声和呼吸。
太恐怖了，差点打９１１了。隔几天又发生了一次。
后来去看了儿医，居然说这个并不是病，叫什么breath holding spells。
怎么办怎么办，以后要做规矩万一娃又这样，岂不是要让他为所欲为了。
