I had heard this novel so much & was so impressed by its nealy poetic
title that I bought the paperback on passion. But couldn't get through
even the first several chapters.
The irony was sour; the humour was affected; the tone was cynical,
self-engrossing & almost self-pitying.
Sparsely a few concise & witty could be appreciated.

ipad恢复了我的读书生活，我有洁癖，心理上有随身携带大量书，随时笔记，随时备份
的需要。加之智商低，简称无脑，分不出场合和轻重，因此一天的时间对我都是flat的
，随时随地有翻书的热忱和需要。。。ipad都满足了。是以3gen ipad我都有预购。副
作用是因此正式发现自家读书少的可怜（以前只是模糊有点估计，缺乏直面若干g pdf
的切肤体会），简直无一不缺，日暮途远啊。。。
另外一些排版比较sparse的书，放ipod touch上也能读，依次法，最近两年也补读了一
些中学生读物。
ps，我不算果粉，，，吧。mac os x这只unix奇葩，，，最终还是忍了，无非自家太弱

在 os x上建立一个安全的加密盘
这个想法是由来已久，我以前一直想做的。以前用过PGP的secudisk，很
不方便。想不到刚拿到ibook不久，就可以实现了， os x的文件系统好方
便。
为什么需要一个加密的盘。就以我为例吧，对周围的事物抱着怀疑和不信
任，老觉得暴露在他人眼光之下（极度缺乏安全感）。我的机器虽然没有
什么重大秘密，银行帐户也没有多少钱，可上面记录的都是我的生活。比
如说，我的blog日记，各种想法，生活照片，等等。买小白，不就是为了
把自己的生活数字化记录下来么，那是我存在的证明啊（明显是一个ibook
广告的受害者）。
步骤很简单的：
1. 打开terminal（在/Applications/Utilitis下）
2. 利用 hdiutil，在term下敲入这个命令（MyDocs就是我给这个加密盘
起的名字，可以替换成你自己的）
hdiutil create MyDocs -size 100M -encryption -type SPARSE -fs |

AGPS里面的。AGPS在wiki上面说可以没有Standalone的GPS chip，其实那是在说cell
tower location，在某些sprint的手机里面这是唯一选择，而且通常情况都不需要手机
有任何改变。在基站密集的地方，比如上海市区，我们定位的精度可以到每栋大楼。美
国没办法，太sparse了，300米到1公里的误差都有可能。
能导航的，只能是有standalone GPS chip的AGPS。我不知道wiki上面的词条是谁编辑
的，我不认为那是一个优质的词条 |

，但就很理论吗？EE的coding发到TIT上面的很多，有不少很好的工作，还有些的发到
代数方面的数学journal，这些才能说是更理论的
但可以目前CS做compressive sensing的暂时没有做出很有意义的工作，当然跟风挖坑
还是少不了的。因为自己就在CS，希望这边能有更多基于深入了解了compressive

这个在linux下,多cpu的performance提高相当大的,(老板有一个东西,他的博后用
fortran写的mpi).
linux 多核,也提高很大,我观察过,在linux下,单线程只有一个核在跑,老板的的东西运
行时,四个核都在跑.(梢后我会把上面的程序在linux上再试验试验).
这样的程序我没写过,想试验一下,大体的思路就是让独立的运算让每个核承担一部分,
for vista我观察system monitor,单线程的时候,四个核都在跑,但每个都不满,多线程
的时候,四个核也都在跑,而且跑满了,那么说明,vista只是简单把运算平均分给各个核,
但多核用来context switch(thread 不知道是不是context switch)的开销thread越多
越大.
看来最初想法和具体的架构有相当的出入. |

Then, for table 3 we would have 40,000,000(much fewer if the original matrix
is a sparse matrix.) rows while having only 3 columns.
The only concern is that for separating into more tables, more aggregation
code (join query) need to be written when geting data back to do some
matrix-oriented computation.

Well, given what you say and the fact that I have used it, I may delve into

I have googled subonic vs. nhibernate before, and found out that many
nhibernate people don't like it. :-)
