Trump赢了，Senate到了55-45左右，这下Health care不用看Collins的脸色了--但是要
看house dems的脸色了。
我其实不觉得这种多拿2个senator，多拿1个governor，丢掉10+个house seats的策略
有什么好的，但是似乎就是这样了。
下面可以算一下2018-2020年的政局。首先看看filibuster-proof majority都有哪些人：

Manchin
Doug Jones
Tester
Mark Warner
Angus King
也就是说，搞定independent Angus King和一个Dem Mark Warner，再加上几个比较中
间派的Dems，就可以到60了。这看着来说确实是个好执政的时间啊。
可惜的是house丢了。house如果拿出straight Dem vote的政策，senate肯定不会要的
。如果是problem solver caucus的bipartisan政策，倒是个实行的好时机。

办：
家里的金融投资基本都是我在操心，以前也试过给她一些东西管管，可总是不了了
之，例如有一套投资房，2次换房客一开始都给她试过，到后来都不了了之。第二次更
是因为该不该装修的事情吵起来。我的意思是出租屋要装那么好干嘛，能有收入就可以
，她认为交给contractor装花个1.5w能多点租金。和她试图认真讨论过，主要的con是
租金才多100-200不值得，还有对这种小项目contractor很难伺候。由于和我意见不合
，她找了1个月遇到点挫折就不管了，然后我接手过来，找了一个还比较随和的中产单
身女，收入信用合同都是我一手搞定，后来的日常管理沟通她也基本不过问。不管也就
算了，可这位太太事后也不省心啊....
有一次那个房子里的stove坏掉了，那个女的要求换stove,我的处理考虑是，我另外
一个房子里有2个半新的stove,质量还不错，是full size的，出租屋的stove是half
size的，然后出租屋的厨房实在太旧了，之前在找房客的时候为此吃了不少亏。所以我

C++：effective c++上的东西若干；exception相关；继承和子父类指针若干. 十五分
钟左右。
算法/编程：1. 大文件随机sample，one pass. 2. sodoku solver. 3. logn解x^y,
4. DP题 5. 1Billion query里选出时间最近5分钟内最frequent的1000个，one pass
（我以前在amazon见到过这题）。6.两个排序数组找共同中值。递归和非递归解法。7.
斐波那契数列。100层楼梯下楼，可以一步也可以两步，多少种下法？递归和非递归。
8 贝叶斯后验概率。9。多少人在一起，生日可能出现重复概率大于0.5？（算法导论原
题，我只记得个答案，直接说了。。。）10. 一个数组，找最大值比较次数？同时找最
大值和最小值比较次数？找最大值和次最大值比较次数？（他问我是否知道这题，我说
是作业题。后来和师兄聊说是这他常拿来用的面试题。）

think, most of core codes were written in Fortran(It's most efficient).
Fortran is the first language I learned in China as Engineering major(Am I
right?, at least for me). Then came to U.S., I changed to C++ in Linux (Unix
) system because in our lab we just program in Linux system(Even I don't
like it).
The point is, the language is not a big deal, the most important thing is
programming skill combined with your major. Pro |
