刚刚去生物版转了圈，看到好多熟悉的ID。对于还没过码程序这一关，又想将来吃几年
手艺饭的同学来说，刷题是正道。本版目前星宿派的朋友当道，讨论的都不是主流技术，
看看就算了，不能当真的。我在本版算是搞deep learning比较早的，也算是碰巧见过
一些圈子内的人物的。我可以负责地告诉你们，deep learning赚钱靠的是*关*系*。
我可以再负责地告诉你们，目前靠关系在吃香的喝辣的那批人，当年都是咬过子弹的，
要在刷题上秒你们都是分分钟的事情。如果没有过刷题这一关的直接上kaggle，其实就
是练九阴白骨爪，碰到功底好的立刻就会露馅。你们可以去quant版看woshialex的帖子
作为佐证。 |

就很多，要是编程不过关，在不该挖坑的地方再挖一些坑，那更没法做了。
而leetcode的题目，是短时间内提高编程能力的最好方法。至少中档题要轻松能过才行 |

但我刚才有个灵感，其实跟生物research很接近的一个行业就是：厨师
经过很多年的动手能力training，做生物的人动手能力都很强。
所以搞生物的应该很多适合转行厨师吧？ |

在 long-term care unit, 主要是 oral meds 和杂事。两年了, 现在连 IV pump 都用
得很勉强，总是需要别人帮忙。医院的工作还是找不到。主要因为我在东北部，又没有
BSN.
现在在网上看到 home care agency 工作的机会，觉得申请的话很有希望，去 home
care agency 可以锻炼自己的 technical nursing skills 吗？好像他们有些 vent 的
病人。
还是说再找一家 nursing home, 希望他们的病人更 acute 些,得到的锻炼的机会多一
些？
还是说去读 BSN， 然后申请医院的工作？
还是说全美撒网，哪儿的医院能要我哪儿去？

我曾经这么认为， 态度好的医生技能肯定不行， 否则他们凭什么态度好呢？有本事的
医生态度再坏也是好医生， 他们解决问题啊。
于是我曾经面红耳赤地与同行和护士争论，我认为我是对的， 既然是对的， 为什么
要让步呢？ 事实上我也是对的， 可结果往往让自己很受伤。 我做到了很多同行做不
到的， 解决了病人的痛苦， 可得到的评论却不是那么值得骄傲。
一个好医生必须是业务过硬， 态度和蔼。 它们一点都不矛盾， 而且与外向内向（
intro/extrovert)无关。 Interpersonal skill是可以学习的， 没有受过好的
training或者出生贫寒，在恶劣环境下长大的孩子， 要求他们有与常年在私立学校受
教育或者在好的家庭环境下长大的孩子有一样的人文素质是不现实的。
当然我不排除某些Nuts， 花岗岩脑袋不可调教。 |

。同样一个问题，不同的医生说出来，可能就能达到不同的效果。
至于面试，想说几句。
确实短短时间看不出什么，可是也就是这短短时间内，能从你身上看出别人没有的，那
你就取胜了。
我问了好几个attending，他们今年都参加面试，聊天时，他们会关注你的坦诚，最不
喜欢defensive的candidate.尤其是在解释一些比较难说的事情，比如gap,比如为什么
换科，candidate是不是在极力圆谎，是不是在极力掩饰什么，其实他们一下就看出来
了。
我觉得你脾气很好，性格很柔顺，如果能多些自信，少些拘束，就更好了。 |

interpersonal skill实际上要体现医生对人性的理解。 这当然就与人的阅历和教育有
关。 思想的表达可以通过verbal language 和 body language。 好的verbal
language可以体现在tone的调控上， 比方说soft tone就可以体现人的修养， 而大嗓
门肯定招来病人的戒意。 Body language则可以传送verbal不能表达的信息， 让病人
更容易接受。 至于此时无声胜有声的意境，更是只可意会不可言传的。
如果做不到这些，那就留给PD一个和善的印象吧， simply put the smile on the
face. |
