One of my 'Shimei' is a full professor at Fudan.
Another 'Shemei', who is actually one year senior than the abovementioned
one, is just a 'Instructor' at Fudan. The same department.
Both had Ph.Ds from very decent US universities and several years of postdoc
experience here.
The point is that someone are more adaptable than others.
Ma's article is pathetic because he does not realize it is his own
personality that causes his not-so-shinning career. He simply blames his
choice of 'chu guo'. |

to me, first it is sth I wanted to do. second, it is much easier than other
work out. third, I know I can do it relatively better than other sports.
and I also found support from my shimei and made lots of new friends through
running. that is really important for me.
later on. I found I can dig deeper from myself and can be tougher than I
thought. it gives me a sense of satisfaction. |
