最近喜欢听一些老歌，当然是英国的居多。发现很多军队里面的个
美国人都是从英国人的那里借过去的节奏。
很多过去有很多水手劳动的时候唱的歌，英国人管它叫shanty。
比如说在Das Boat里面的it is a long way to tipperary.
中间德国潜艇员听到这首歌的时候就一起用英文唱起来了。
这就是一首非常二战时非常出名的歌。
还有一首，我比较佩服的是在Jaws中间那个渔夫总是在哼一句
Farewell and adieu unto you Spanish ladies,
就是来自一首shanty, spanish lady.
下面我会post它的歌词。这首歌是我特别喜欢的歌，特别是中间的

对我来说，一个好的滑雪场不光雪道要平整得好滑起来舒服，还要雪道多滑几天都不会
烦不会腻，住的地方最好是ski-in/ski-out的，滑好了以后还要有一个比较有气氛的地
方围着火炉烤一下，喝杯热可可，舒舒筋骨，当然，好的餐馆是必不可少的，一天滑下
来体力消耗那么大，不吃点嫩牛排能量跟不上，当然最好是吃完以后再上泡泡池泡一下
，让肌肉彻底放松，再进桑拿蒸一下，驱驱寒，。。。这样第二天又可以滑了。
所以能做完这么一整套的地方就是好地方，现在滑下来还是波音山比较好，波音高地也
不错，Shanty几个地方分得比较开，不太方便，Nub Nob没有住过，没法比，Caberfea
条件差点但路近价格便宜。 |

Shanty Creek, Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highland都是比较好的地方。几个人一起买联
票每人100刀以内有可能。 |

诞节了，以前在Boyne Highland过过一个，Shanty Creek过了3个，Caberfea也过了有3
-4个，感觉还是Boyne的节日气氛比较好。冬天滑雪还是那么几样：滑雪，泡澡，烤火
炉，缺一不可。原来还有蒸汽桑拿，今年这里的桑拿没有开。当然，打牌是不能少的，
几百号人轰轰烈烈的场面因为怕侵犯他人肖像权没敢多拍，但来回路上的2个Outlet
Mall是非停不可的，值得一提的是今年又意外在Birch Run看见了Merrell新开的专卖店
，赶紧进去买了一双走路鞋。 |

五年前的秋天，正值Tigers出乎所有人意料十九年里首次闯入季后赛之际，我兴奋之余
写下了一个叫“咆哮吧，老虎们”的系列，不知道这里的兼职棒球迷朋友们还有没有印
象。老虎们今年秋天其实又很粗豪地咆哮了一嗓子，而且不像06年拿外卡，这次是响当
当的分区冠军。当时一鸡冻就想再次提笔，只可惜工作学业家庭让我腾不出时间来，只
好眼睁睁地看着老虎们跟06年一样第一轮蹂躏洋基，把喜悦的泪水往肚子里吞...
转眼到了2011年的平安夜，正在窝棚溪（Shanty Creek）跟家人度假的我，眼见心爱的
雄狮们痛扁圣迭戈茶几，自1999年以来重返季后赛，忍不住老泪纵横，心想再不写点什
么，实在对不起我这些年当他们球迷的苦难历程，所以谨以此小文献给自己还有和我一
样不离不弃的狮子迷们！

这个版是三番湾区版，大部分的朋友都是做技术的。不夸张地说，我们的处境从来没有
这样被动过，因为我们的对手印度人已经在每条线上占领了制高点。。。
这里是我今天录制编辑的一些美国印度人电视节目里的画面。虽然我把一些令人一身鸡
皮疙瘩的做作场景去掉，根据咱们华人的欣赏习惯编辑而进行了再处理，但是我不得不
说整体上，他们现在搞的这些歌舞音乐还有电影，确实已经相当现代化，相当“洋”，
相当不错。
实际上，印度宝莱坞的电影产量很多年来一直是世界第一的。印度的文化音像产品和电
影，在南亚，甚至中东都很流行。。。
这里的节目里分几部分：
1) 第一段是一部即将在美国上映的印度大片的片花。这部电影叫Saawariya(被爱着)，
出品公司是SONY，将会在11月9日印度DEWALI节那天在全美上映。这是一部完全印度人
制作的爱情故事。
2) 第二，第三段是两首观众点播的电影插曲。
3) 第四段是一部印度本土的DEWALI节贺岁片片花，号称31个巨星联合出演打造的一部巨片
。名字叫：Om Shanti Om
还注意到一个有意思的细节： 上面第一段最后的上映地点中，给出了FREMONT还有SAN

salmon我知道你们那里有stock的，还有野生的。我认识的朋友有人去CT钓过。还有很
不错的brown。
你钓pike用什么饵？我记得你上过个小pike是吗？我没钓过pike，MA这边pike不多，都
太远。但是我听说要钓大个的pike，饵一定要大。baitshop现在都有钓pike用的golden
shiner，或者sucker卖。不过你可以先去jig一些yellow perch，然后放冰上冻个半死
，背上挂个大钩，2 feet off bottom，会有大家伙上来的。不过要离岸稍远些，
leader也要粗些。 |

发帖数: 3857 | 48 MidWest的山比较小，道相对较少，因为不是很高，季节平均气温高点，滑雪季节比西
部的高山要短，但中西部的雪场没有西部雪场的高山反应，伸手不见五指的狂风天，大
雾天也不多。
而且中西部的雪场的好的地方是大部分雪道都是刮平的雪道，对我们这样水平较低的提
供一些方便，西部大山的N个包包道其实对我这样水准的根本就没有关联，多了也是白
多，雪道少了不会迷路，不用看地图，下来就是Lodge，十分方便。Vail从顶上下来要
Take我40分钟左右，要是在Vail的后山回大屯子时间更长。不要看西部大山的雪道长，
因为高山反应，我一般要停个几次才能滑到底，而且因为休息时间短，容易疲劳，还不
如中西部短道，可以经常在缆车上休息，滑几天都不觉得累。 西部一些雪场的难度比
较高，Brekenridge比较容易，Vail顶上的下来的绿道和Boyne的黑道差不多，而且没有
其他easy道下来，不是初学者可以试的。这是我的看法。
中西部雪场还有一个好处，就是不用飞飞机，现在滑雪坐飞机十分头疼，要加不少行李
费。雪板，雪靴，都要另算行李费，搞丢了一个行李你还没法滑。
