about 1300, played Vietnamese Chinese called Lee, he played shakehand,
but switch between his 2 hands to loop from 2 sides, i lost my fist
match in bay area 1:2 in 21 points.
i lived in border line of SJ and Campell, needed to drive 280->85->
101-> 40 mins. one way, played 2-4 matches one night since i lost
2/3 of my matches... |

I have never played any TT matches in US, and I haven't played the game for
the last 9 years. As I am not familiar with the rating system I am also not
sure what level I could achieve even if I rediscover my best form overnight.

are u a penhold or shakehand?
the key is return the ball to the place that could minimize the
opponent's 3rd ball attack.
serve returner is the defensive side, the key is neutralize the
serve advantage. not too passive nor too aggressive... |

then i played a Chinese from Burma, 80yo, he was so sad, he told
me he competed with Zhuang at 1961 world championship of Beijing
he is about 1700 now, shakehand with anti- in his backhand.

，Kao，反手横拉太爆太稳了，几乎都打在中线和边线上。反手比svttc 刘教练打的好
。 正手倒是一般，利用率比反手少。打了5局，险输。后来聊天，问他和教练过吗，他
说没有。他说他打了13年，rating 1700，几乎不打比赛。问email 以后约球，递过一
张名片，上面写 Personal Table Tennis Coach.

我妈也是刚入门不太久，两三年吧，特别痴迷，天天玩，差不多每天都是玩几个小时。
国内小区里有业余教练教他，教练说她玩的“还不错”，她说她是进攻型，正手打，刚
刚看了大家什么弧度啊啥的，她都说不清楚。
请问这种情况下，该给她买啥底板呢？ （就假定她是中手吧。）
