Just get parts from dealer.
First, unscrew the screw if the old broken part is still there.
You can use screwdriver plus hammer to knock the screw loose then
hand-unscrew it.
Turn on your radio,(you may need someone to help you now), the old part
will come out completely. Hold the part so that it won't drop out and scratch
on your car's body. Pay attention the old antenna's orientation before it

要散架似的，忍无可忍，卸下轮子发现左边Outer Tie Rod接轮子处的Seal已经开了花
。只好换啦。
这个Tie Rod End,就是下面这东西。
零件很便宜，我从Autozone买的Duralast杂牌的才$11.99.

It is easy to install. You can drill holes with a screwdriver.
The front bumper is plastic. It is not hard at all.
If you cannot do it, find a dealership or car shop for help.
A dealer did it for me and give me a frame to hold to plate for free.
The ticket is no big deal.

hose grease and of course coolant if u don't reuse the total cost is 35
bucks, the tools involved is a plier and a screwdriver
do not try to repair it, u nd to replace it very easy about 20 min job |

专门的工具，我用尖嘴钳也成功
了。多花了两小时。
车是2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx LS. 头一次换闸，以前直换过雨刷，机油和尾灯泡，冷
却液也该换了。

statement,说XX买了你的车，多少钱，写低点拿这个证明你的交易金额。去DMV办理
title装换手续，同时交注册费用，license plate费用，拿到你的新title,拿到牌照按
你车上，带上screwdriver.之前无牌照的期间，要戴上转让title的复印件在车里面，
同时去DMV之前把insurance card也带上。貌似有地方要花钱买临时牌照才能上路。如
果户主的车当时还在registration期，貌似可以一个月无牌照，车里放上几样东西就行

对于比较老的车型（00年之前），可以上这个网站看看，http://www.installdr.com/InstallYourself.asp，他们有详尽的拆解图示和连线指南。
需要购买的东西主要是Car Radio和Mount Dash Kit +Wire Harness，前者可以上
Amazon，这个一般没有车型之分；后者可以去eBay，根据自己的车型来选择。当然也可
以去Walmart一次性买齐。其它工具如screwdriver，wrench，soldering，insulating
tape也用的上。
事实上只买radio也能用，但比较麻烦，因为原装radio一般是新raido的1.5-2倍高，这
样装上去会留下空隙。更麻烦的是连线，原装的插头肯定是没法直接插到新radio上的
，就需要自己去根据手册来单独连线，wire harness是根据你的车型设计的，一头是母
头连到车上的信号和电源公头上，另一头则是线头，可以直接跟你买来的radio上的接
头的一端相连，颜色也是一一对应的。

丝的时候要用breaker bar而且你还得找个长点的breaker bar不然估计拧不开。中间有
个dust cap你要用chisel+hammer把它弄下来。另外记得找根绳子挂拆下来的caliper，
别让它拽坏了软管。我忘记Camry的rotor有没有螺丝了，有的话要用impact
screwdriver搞，不要用一般的螺丝刀拧。 |

这种节气门唯一能坏的部件就是position sensor，自己买一个换上（就2-3个螺丝，不
过可能螺丝非常难拧，建议找个shop给你弄不然自己拧花了就不好办了，建议用impact
screwdriver），一般用不了100刀。 |

这个方法简单把车里原来的线从XM radio到head unit的剪断了。再把3.5mm cable的线
接上。相当于用aux input取代了XM radio。这样在media center选XM radio就是aux
input了。
图里是我用的工具，从左到右
1 screwdriver handle for socket. 这个7mm的socket是magnetic的，因为有个screw
要吸出来。
2 wrench bar
3 extended 7mm socket （optional）
4 10mm socket
5 wrench bar extension （used with 10mm socket）
6 钳子
7 wire stripper and wire Terminals
8 好要一个长点的一字螺丝刀，用来翘panel用
9 3.5mm cable 这样的就可以

前段时间帮一个访问学生买车，专门找的one owner, 买了一个
2000 Dodge Intrepid R/T 3.5L V6, 150K miles。
当时拿到mechanic 检查了一下，车况很好，除了前轮轮胎跟rod有点松，需要换，其他
没什么问题。 One owner，女士开的，她跟老公中产白人，退休了，把房子卖了马上要
进行5年sailing。因为急着卖，价格也不错，才2千4. 因为是6缸，所以预计能开挺久
的。
这个车是3.5 L V6 引擎，不是那个著名的 2.7L。这个引擎应该能够跑很久吧。车是
one owner，一直有保养。去年刚换的 timing belt.
买了一个月，在路上坏了。dealer 发现是节流阀坏了，修理需要1千块。
值得修吗？刚来的访问学生，没车很不方便。
