As far as I know, many US universities have closed their ftp and telnet
services due to security problems. Students are required to use SSH or SCP
to access email and files to and from servers. This change is gradual but
certain in direction.
You can ask your classmates or friends to check this.
As to commercial web servers, the change may not come so early.
I have designed several web sites for school, so I am used to use SSH and SCP

但转换的时候发现如下问题，想烦请各位高手指点一二
int* beam,*scp,*tmx;都是当数组用（我在java中定义了int beamidx, scpidx, tmxidx
）
1.beam += y + icm[y].offset;(icm是我自己定义的一个istate数组，offset是一个整型
元素)
2. *scp=*beam+*tmx;
3.trace类的构造，我构造tracestack开始的时候用如下代码
trace[] list=new trace[10];
然后再在tracestack的构造函数中写道：
for(int i=0; i<10; i++) list[i]=new trace();
但这样每次都会报错java.lang.stackoverflow,后来只好把这一句屏蔽掉
4。int[][][] amx
beam=amx[diff][0]+y+icm[y].offset; 这句话什么意思，怎么转换

up 好用多了，而且还可以左右滑动，比mouse强n倍，不知道你为啥吐mac，不会用就去
学着用嘛；连一个ssh都搞不定还说没
有putty好用，真是可笑。terminal 不仅有putty的功能, 还有更多的功能，比如scp。
你用putty 还得去下载一个叫scp的东西吧才能在server间移动文件；在mac terminal
里打开finder 或任何一个文件就一个命令open 就行了，putty行吗？ |

途死掉。各位大虾可知道是怎么回事？
另外，怎么设置 linux 的 xterm 使它能直接从实验室的机子上 用 scp 传文件 （xterm
上显示 xxx@localhost, 肯定不能直接用这个域名来 scp 吧 ）？

我用的是DualWAN Tomato，本身已经内置了bt，用的是transmission，还带webui。之
前还想装个rtorrent+rutorrent，结果连这些全都省了。不过要是用的其它不带bt的固
件，rtorrent+rutorrent+php之类的JFFS还是能够刚刚装下（刷8MB固件的话）
所以RT-N16稳坐神由第一把交椅不是没有道理的，CPU/RAM/flash完胜。E3000的RAM和
flash是软肋，USB口也比RT-N16少一个，当然5GHz是个卖点
从来不觉得用JFFS升级时有什么不方便。Linux备份本身就很简单，带属性把JFFS分区
tarball一下然后scp到别的地方，刷ROM后scp回来解开即可
外接USB发热和读写寿命是个问题。不过像DockStar这种没条件的还是只能外接USB |
