经常要锯plywood，所以这个TS55真的是太实用了。 用circular saw配合straight
edge甚至是EZ track这样的系统还是和真正的track saw有差距的。 TS55锯开的
plywood基本没有任何的毛边，媲美甚至超过table saw。我的table saw主要就是拿来
做ripping，这个是其他工具代替不了的。

木工里锯木板的是大的band saw, 我买的这台band saw其实也不算是小的了(12")，
band saw用处很大的，我上次去Concord MA的Emerson Art Center参观，里面的artist
/carpenter说，如果他只能有一台锯子的他，他会选择band saw. |

board. And it is huge for storage. If u have budget for a sliding miter saw
then get a track saw. It will cover all u need. |

圆锯基本只能干干糙活。高级木工以table saw为操作台中心。table saw的问题，一个

At the end of the day, it's all about productivity. Using a miter saw is
perhaps 5x more efficient than a circular saw for molding. And with much

如果你要装墙角之类的话，你很多时候会需要用到mitre saw，因为要切角度。但你如
果要切一块大板子的话，比如shed的sheathing，你需要circular saw也叫skill saw。
从实用的角度，俺都是买110V的，劲大。电池的总还是力道差一些。 |

似于 割/豁 宽木板。
加一条， circular saw 如果装上专用的锯片， 可以切铁管和瓷砖。
18V 就是图方便，（两块）电池充满电，一般的活的也够用了。 |

比如吧，roof要加盖ridge vent，用skill saw很简单就切了，你难道要把table saw抬
roof上去？还是把房顶拆了，运下来锯了在抬回去？真是的，亏你们想得出。
说危险，所有锯子都危险（包括手锯），小心是王道。不小心锯掉一截手指头长长记性
也好。哈哈。
skill saw通常要握好，等转速起来了再锯，不要还没太转起来就送上去，不踢你一脚
才怪呢。对了，就是不要用它去锯旧板子，因为里面可能有钉子，实在要锯也得当心，
先拔了钉子再锯。呵呵
锯直吗，一要用chalk line画好线，二要学会用木条或者专用的guide，用了guide还锯
不直该拖出去打屁股。:-) |

说到tablesaw, 你要是打算搞成enthusiastic weekend woodworker, 建议上cabinet
table saw, 稍微把预算往上加一加，买个二手的够了。或者搞个新的hybrid table
saw， Grizzly的就800左右。
我的是powermatic 66. 是多少年的旧机器的， 买的成本远不及你的预算，运回家后把
机器全部拆开，lubricate,补上零件。机器运行时，桌面上可以竖直放个硬币, 硬币不
会倒。

如果是在现有的DRYWALL上开口子，可以用手锯的DRYWALL SAW或者电锯的JIGSAW。
MITER SAW可以切角度，比如45度角使两块木料垂直结合，这是它与别的锯子最大的不
同。Circular Saw貌似很全能，其实不容易用，如果是要用来破坏现有的Drywall倒是
很合适的。 |

Radio arm saw（I like my radio ram saw).
Start from a small project and buy the tools whatever just you need. slowly
make your collection.

最主要是把板子夹紧，然后用一个直的木条做依靠（也夹紧），就可以锯的直，也安全。
对了，还要买个好的锯片，便宜电锯自带的锯片很垃圾，去home depot花10块钱买的锯
片就非常好用了。

我想铺个大概500sqft的laminate，底下带pad的。看了一些视频和书，觉得自己可以做
。省钱省不了多少，但可以练练手。
基本工具就那些，但因为要横向和纵向切割地板，所以需要用Circular Saw。因为之前
需要一直比较心灵手巧，但从来没有做过这种活儿，所以家人担心我用Circular Saw会
有潜在的危险。
现在想听听用过Circular Saw的朋友，用这个对于一个纯新手来说，是不是有比较大的
可能割到自己。或者有没有什么可以替代的工具来切割？
另外铺laminate是否如视频上一样的简单？有没有更多的trick和tip需要做了以后才能
体会到？

部锯完。 Table
saw 有一百来元的，miter saw更便宜，横切可能用圆锯也可替代。不过miter saw切起
来很爽，跟

所有锯中最危险的就是天天上电影的chain saw了。不过做木工活不用。

难的是要频繁的做精确的miter cut。
还有就是很窄木条的rip cut，这需要好的table saw。
我用circular saw最难的是rip cut一条4尺长，半英寸宽，1/4英寸厚的木条，把宽度
减少1/8寸。
还有就是rip cut一条7尺长，1/2寸厚的threshold，把厚度减少1/4寸。 |
