眼就看见TRAIL沿途有个SAILING CENTER了)一块儿跑，不错。
可以跑上三，五迈，骑个十来迈，然后到集合地点野餐，吃西瓜，喝西米露，打球跳绳
个把小时，然后估计就可以去BUFFET了。 |

发帖数: 3908 | 16 第二天上午去了sailing，B小姐和我下了水，看到了海龟在脚下游，snorkeling还真不
是那么容易的，熟悉和使用的过程中，大家都至少喝了一口海水。海水的咸涩从舌尖到
喉咙，一直通到胃里。最后我索性屏住一口气到水里看。漂在海水中，觉得自己是那么
的微不足道，被海水轻易的浮起，不经意的一个涌动就把我们推向远处。snorkeling之
后帆船开进了更开阔的海域，从浅浅的绿，到嫩嫩的蓝，到深的如墨一般的海蓝海蓝，
第一次感到大海的力量，无边无际的力量，那种让人怀着欲罢不能的敬畏。
时差在兴奋中总是容易摆脱的，下午我们又去了Villa of temples，看到了‘紫龙修行
的地方’，一定是的 :)。
Tips: 严重推荐我们去的这家，wakiki rigger, 2.5-Hour Snorkeling and Sailing

Tough decisions.
Very tough to make a decision about sailing or not sailing at 4 am in the dark
with Gale warnings posted. The storm just never came, but you don't want to
have everyone drive down with the price of gas and turn them away. Never
really blew last night and the seas (what I could see of them) were not rough
so we gave our patrons the choice. Told them it wasn't the best day out there
but not the worse either. One charter decided to cancel and two decided to go.

8月份就开始计划感恩节去加勒比海航海. 为什么感恩节? hurricane 季节已经结束，
旺季（圣诞）还没到，价格要便宜一些。风很好，基本是１５－２０ｋｔ 的trade
wind，非常理想。 在这之前我已经在西雅图地区附近玩过很多次，大部分是在
PugetSound 和 SanJuan群岛。租的帆船大小从35 到 45 尺不等。这边就是风不太稳
定，经常是只能开马达前进，而且水温太低，游泳潜水都不舒服。
我的经验
我自2002年开始玩windsurfing 和 小帆船（主要是在laser II上）， 次年就加入当地
的一个sailing club 开始玩cruising boats（就是大于30尺的可以远航的帆船）。先
后完成了US Sailing的4个certification：

初学推荐 Berkeley 的 Cal sailing club，$70 三个月，随便多少次都可以。

Disclaimer: I am by no means good or experienced at windsurfing. Take my
words at your own discretion. 还有欢迎大家一起来补充。
1） 学习地点
初学帆板，最好的地方不是海，湾不是最好的，最好而是湖或者水库，完美的初学地点
的一点是没有浪，当然如果你是想天天玩 360 backflip的牛牛就别去了.
2） 帆板
你最初买板最重要的是displacement,通常是你的体重＋２０ 就是板的 displacement
大小，单位是L。 比如你体重150磅，你最好初学时使用170L以上的板子.
一般越大浮力越大，尤其是没有风的情况下完全就靠浮力，但是等风起来了你就不想要
那么大的浮力了，displacement越大的通常也越重，不方便gybe，而且不方便planing
建议初学者可以考虑300块的 windglider (现在改名叫 aquaglide multisport） 充气

了个带balcony的房间。
都要在网上check in,每人每天十刀小费自动从sign and sail card上扣。轮船上酒精
饮料是要额外自己花钱买的，自动加上15%小费。
new orleans cruise port parking lot is 16USD per day, 付清后才能开进趴车。
周一傍晚起航，第二天at the sea.害的我一天吃六顿，轮船上有各种活动。船头有个
mini golf, 船中有swimming pool, hot tub.船尾有water ride.躺椅无数。晒太阳，
买了一个ice bucket beer,water ride,玩的很开心，用了很多防晒霜。
第三天遭上到了progreso,下船很快，全家8人一起报团参加了那个去chichen itza
Mayan ruins.( 我读不好那两单词，就给读成cheese pizza ruins)来回7个小时，车上

第二天的主要行程是去SAILING和SNORKELING。早晨先驱车去买了SNORKELING的装备，
在RESORT的海边练习了一下，呛了两口咸咸的海水。一切就绪，出发去WAKIKI的海边。
意想不到的堵车，让我们又是在最后一分钟才到达，最后一波登上了出海的小艇。朋友
和我相当勇敢，开心的挑进了海里SNORKELING，看海龟。而不会游泳的朋友的LG和我不
大会游泳的LG只能呆在了船上, 看看偶尔浮出水面的海龟。不约而同的想到了那个女生
问男生的落水先救谁的经典问题，估计永远不会发生在我们俩对之间：P 如果有一天不
幸发生了，也只能是我们去救他们了：P：）
原本略带失望的SNORKELING，因为而后乘风破浪的SAILING，变的让我们无比兴奋。坐
在甲板上，随着起伏的海浪在大海中颠簸，一次次的被冲上甲板的海水打湿。第一次真
切的感受到大海的无边无际，第一次真切的感受到大海深处蕴藏着的无穷力量。在大海
面前我们是如此的渺小。。。
时间的关系加上美丽的RESORT对我们强大的吸引力，我们决定放弃去LAIE的Polynesian

发帖数: 40 | 47 虽然导致被拒载的主要原因是我们自己，但是还是想写出来给xdjm们提个醒，日后坐
cruise是仔细准备签证身份文件，以免又损失钱财又ruin vacation。
我们本来就住在FL，丈母娘B2过来帮忙看小孩快满一年了(其间延过一次B2身份)，计划
临回国前一个半月全家包括小孩一起去cruise一趟，提前半个月在carnival官网定好的
trip，其中一个停靠点在墨西哥。预定付费完后，还刻意想着要把延期批准信I-797A
Approval Notice和护照放一起带全，以免出问题。
临行前几天工作家务特别忙，一直没有找到时间仔细收拾行李，临到头了才开始收拾，
匆忙间把所有人的护照绿卡之类的旅行证件一起装了包，还刻意确认了丈母娘的护照里
面夹着一张纸，看着这张纸折叠着的就觉得应该是Approval Notice，也就没有打开来
检查。
全家人在我夫妻干完上午的工作后匆忙开车1.5个小时赶到了Miami Port，drop off行
李和self parking后就接近2:30了，过安检的时候LD被告知安检只需要ticket，后面

charter company都说订满了。沮丧之余了解到一个信息，STT机场在现在旺季登机，托
运行李需提前2小时，不托运需提前1个半小时。
本来也想订下午的的sailing tour，我傍晚6点的飞机，被告知4点结束后肯定来不及登
机，须在4点前赶到机场才行，要还车还得更早。
不知San Juan机场check in是不是也这么慢，local的Ceiba, Vieques, Culebra机场应
该都挺快的吧？去过的朋友也给提个醒吧。 |
