奥迪Q7 2006年出来的，那时候碰撞测试早就分级了。不会有人傻到浪费两辆车做这个
实验。
早期欧洲NCAP不是撞墙，而是撞跟车辆同等重量的可形变物体。所以这个测试结果只对
同级车有效是不言而喻的。NCAP玩了十几年IIHS才加入，用的也是同样的方法。IIHS刚
开始测试minivan碰撞成绩最差。
拿星级跨级别比的，除了少数智障，大部分是dealer的小二用来忽悠人的。我就听过
subaru小二说他们的车是safest in the world，much safer than even larger
vehicles。后来以正视听，IIHS特地发布了官方说明

Should I interpret it this way? 2016 XC90 is one of safest in the world, but
less safe than BMW X5, as shown on Driver Torso (side crash test).

I am now with my fourth set of brakes that was installed just last week (Aug
22,2016) on my 2016 XC90 T6 Momentum and the squealing has returned in just
over a week of driving with a vengeance. Every time I come to a stop I hear
it after about 20 minutes of driving so the I am guessing at this point the
brakes are now heated up. I don't understand why this is so bad of an issue

first of all, IIHS only buys a subset of cars, it can not afford to test all
available cars on the market. for example, you wont find Tesla Model S and
X in this list, because IIHS has not yet bought them and run the test, yet,
they are widely believed to be among the safest cars made today

2017 Pilot EXL AWD with sensing. I can tell you is its weight is ~4400 lbs
and it earned IIHS's safest car "Safety pick plus". The car is spacious,

If you search, you can find Europe crash tests online too. Their videos are
so detailed.
I drove many Ford/Chevy trucks in my work. They are unrefined tools. I won't
use my own money to buy them as I don't need to tow 10000 lbs or haul 2000
lbs.
I did my homework before buying a truck. For my purpose, Ridge fits
perfectly. The best truck I have driven bar none, none. |

部分买了911的车主只在周末兜风, 平时停在车库里不开, 那么自然claim frequency较
低。但对于常见家用车来说, 可以assume年平均行使里程带来的扰动不大。
关于iihs(或nhtsa)的碰撞测试,我个人很相信iihs的碰撞测试结果。如果我要买车,在
基本5项crashworthiness里有一项M或P,就肯定不会考虑。但另一方面,碰撞测试毕竟只
是模拟测试,也无法跨类比较。
举个例子，small suv和midsized sedan的平均curb weight非常接近，如果只看iihs碰
撞测试结果, 可能会以为两者安全性相当（有些人以为占地面积大的mid size car更安
全些）。现实统计数据显示的则是small suv要更安全一些,不管是保险索赔数据还是死
亡率数据都是如此。

Hills地铁站只需8分钟，如果雨雪天不想走路，马路对面就是Q23路公交车，5分钟直达
地铁站。地铁E/F快车只停三站路只需20分钟即达曼哈顿。
我上传了51张照片到（谷歌图片链接备索）。位于一楼，约60平米大，有一前一后两个
大门独立出入，1个带淋浴的私人卫生间（无需与任何人合用），客厅也是私人使用，
带洗衣机，我将提供电磁炉和微波炉可以偶尔做饭（但烹饪油烟重的请勿联系）。因地
处别墅区，街头免费停车也很方便。门前带独立停车位，供租户专用，免费。因处于这
