Braintree is at least as safe as Quincy, and it's less crowded.
But it's the farthest point on red line.
Quincy center is ok.
there are some very nice houses and apartments around Quincy center.
West Quincy is probably the part that's a little rundown.
But even that is no unsafe.
In terms of people, Quincy is mainly white and Asian, and maybe there are
noticeable black population in west quincy.
Braintree is probably 80-90% white and most rest are asian. |

着周六去把机油给换了。
结果周六起来磨磨蹭蹭得，到了店里已经10点了，还是那个黑人manager Gary，告诉我
要45分钟才能轮到我，反正周六么，再说在外面多待会正好可以不用回去带孩子，嘿嘿
，想得很美。
环顾四周，等了一圈人，找了个椅子坐了会儿觉得有点闷，就出去溜达了，旁边是个7-
eleven的加油站（原来7-eleven有加油站的！），门口好几个人买了彩票出来，难道
Mega Million要继续涨？唉，管我什么事，我又没买。绕过7-eleven是个居民区，唉，
这Lowell是rundown啊（和我以前住过的Philly的黑人区贫民窟有一拼啊），我在
Lowell的贫民窟溜达了能有30分钟（突然有种感觉，这买房不就找一窝么，在这买个房
子多好，不用做房奴，孩子...说不定我儿子出淤泥而不染呢，矮子里拔长子，easily
名列前茅，说不定哈佛每年要预留几个名额给贫民窟的孩子...）
回到店里，车还在外面趴着呢，不同的方向再转一圈吧，旁边有个看似还不错的柬埔寨

很urban的feel（south brookline可能除外），老中老犹都挺喜欢的。cambridge也很
不错，就是central sq南边有点rundown的感觉，但是估计过几年也能好起来。但是
cambridge的缺点跟brookline比的话可能就是学区不是太好。 |

central sq到河边那块，房子都rundown的厉害，有的房子连窗户都 没有就直接
plywood钉上的；贩毒的人超多，治安很不怎样！治安还行，环境不错的cambridge在
harvard sq西边brattle st周边，fresh pond周边都还不错，北边也在慢慢变好。我觉
得cambridge潜力很大啊，不过cambridge的房子实在是太太密集了，基本sfh都没有地
，能有个小小的patio都算不错了。 |
