所以看懂了不代表就能把握 certainty 了，没有 certainty 当然不能跟印钞相比。
以为看懂了股市就能印钞那是因为还不懂。
何况谁也不能说 100% 看懂，窥视皮毛而已，也足以。能 survive 就已经是高手了。
你在赌场玩 blackjack，不是说没可能赢钱，但是你得学得练得研究。下多大功夫，用
多么高深的数学工具，前提都是你知道自己玩的是什么。如果你用 roulette 的方法去
玩 blackjack，然后每天对着 roulette 做 research，你花再多的时间精力还是
没有用。当然这不代表你就每次输钱。赌博就是这样，你用再 non-sense 的方法，肯定
还是有赢有输，运气好的时候也许还能连赢几把。但是 at the end of day 你还是
只能坐在那里挠头，想不明白是怎么回事。
我这一句话说了，听不听随你：不要把时间浪费在 TA 上了，你再研究十年也不会有结

来一则，发生在我和另外一名美国留学生之间。当时他们都已经被诸如“戊、戌、
戍、戎、戒”或者“己、已、巳”这样的汉字给折腾得快疯了，我很得意，经常有
意无意就在他们面前夸耀中文的博大精深。结果有一天，这老美终于忍不住了
那天我又跟他们说起中文里关于“妻子”有多少种说法，“吃饭”又有多少种说法，
如此等等。说着说着，这老美突然问了我一句：“K，你们中文里关于做爱，
有多少种表达方法？”
我听他这么问，也没想许多，就拿出张纸来开始给他写，穷举了从文雅的
云雨交媾到粗俗的XX（注，此为屏蔽）等大概三十来种中文里关于做爱的
表达方式，完了把纸递给他，心想：你小子这下得服气了吧？
孰料那老美接过纸后扫了一眼，淡淡说道：“K，我们英语里关于做爱的表
达方式实在是太多了，一张纸写不下，今晚回去我e-mail给你吧。”
我愣住了，茫然地点了点头，说了声好。
那天晚上，我在自己的邮箱里看到了下面这份长得不像话的列表……

接着八这个命。。。
大卫叔叔在西雅图没能爽太久，因为罩着他的咯噔大叔跳槽了（太不讲义气了！），大
卫叔叔少了这顶保护伞，结果可想而知。当时大卫叔叔正在为DEC的新机型Prism开发一
个全新的操作系统Mica，于是先是砍功能和改要求，然后就是彻底取消了Prism项目，
皮之不存，毛将焉附？新机型都没有了，为这个机型设计的操作系统自然更加完蛋。于
是大卫叔叔遭遇了他人生第一次re-org。
Re-org对于底下的小兵来讲还算不痛不痒，对于项目的头头来讲，那可真是痛过切肤之
痛。虽然大卫叔叔仍旧可以领他二十多万的年薪（八十年代的二十多万呀！），住他在
华盛顿湖边两个多米粒的豪宅，大卫叔叔还是痛苦地把自己喝得醉熏熏，在宣布队伍解
散的消息时，大卫叔叔哭鼻子了。这是大卫叔叔成年以来的第一次哭鼻子，也是唯一一
次哭鼻子。。。
当时，大卫叔叔的办公室里比尔大叔的办公室大概有4-5个英里吧，不知道是不是大卫
叔叔哭得太响亮了，反正他哭鼻子的事让比尔大叔知道了，敏锐的比尔大叔从大卫叔叔
的哭中看到了机会。。。
于是美国版的三顾茅庐故事开始上演了，当然大卫叔叔的茅庐比诸葛爷爷的要豪华些。
