相隔64年后伦敦再次举办奥运盛会，名店林立的摄政街商圈首度悬挂参赛国国旗欢庆，
美意与美事，却因政治力介入发生中华民国国旗被撤而变调。
摄政街（Regent Street）是欧洲第1个规划兴建的购物街，由著名建筑师奈许（John
Nash）设计，从牛津圆环（Oxford Street）一直延伸到比卡迪里圆环（Piccadilly
Circus），圆弧建筑造型独特，1825年完工后是访客到伦敦购物休闲必访之地。
由摄政街商家组成的「摄政街协会」（Regent Street Association）去年4月庆祝威廉

)向IOC總部遞交參選IOC主席文件，參選下任IOC主席。
目前在洛桑的吳經國接受中央社電話訪問時證實，他是第三位IOC主席候選人，並將
於23日下午3時在台北宣布參選。

2. 你显然不知道unprecidented可以是褒义的可以是贬义的. 而exceptional
只有褒义. 而按照西方表扬一方但不能贬低别人的说话方式, 是不合适
以奥委会的身份夸奖北京unmatched, 这样是会犯政治性错误的.
Rogge的本意,就是夸奖北京奥运无与伦比. 虽然字面上exceptional跟中文的
无与伦比表达的意思有一些差别.

an particular Olympic was the best one, it makes sense because the latest
one should always be the best one if everything went well. Notice he didnt
say it on the 1996 Olympic's closing ceremony due to all the dramas happened.

员的表现（破纪录情况），当局人员的组织，金牌数与奖牌数的排名，还是开闭幕式的
美仑美奂，用国际奥委会主席ROGGE的话来说就是无与仑比 （truly exceptionnal
Games)。就我看来，此次奥运会还有以下三点启示：
1）中华民族的团结与智慧不容忽视，这可从无数志愿者及普通民众自愿为此次奥运会
作贡献，以及开、闭幕式上他们精采的表演看出来。
2）专制集权制度是双刃剑，在重大灾难和特发事件发生时，专制制度比民主制度能更
有效更迅速的处置问题，能够做出一些民主社会无法做到的贡献。然而同样的这种高效
率专制制度如果用来对付老百姓，占绝大多数的普通民众将处于万覆不劫的不利境况。
3）此次奥运会从某种角度来看就是一台花费巨资的大广告。中国政府想让世界了解中
国的目的绝对是达到了。那些对中国有某种偏见认为中国还是老毛时代的中国的而又没
机会到中国旅游的老外们通过这次奥运会应该是达到了教育的目的。然而对于一些对中
国国情已相当了解的人来说，应该收效不大，他们已对这种粉饰不全面的宣传制度有了
