Question:A friend recently hit a deer, causing about $1,200 damage to the
vehicle. He picked up the deer and put it in his truck to take home for food
. He was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy who told him to take the deer out of
his vehicle or he would be cited. I heard that it is legal to pick up “

I saw only W. Virginia legalized to possess and eat road kill. W.V. is a

Other states either are considering legalizing it or requires permits or
certain action, or totally illegal.
Many states are not listed there does not mean it is legal.
In Alaska moose, caribou and bear are considered state property under the
Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and anyone who finds roadkill must call

每次见到时候俺都悲叹一下惨死的小东西，开车时候也很当心，
有那么几次急刹车，避过了横穿马路的小松鼠。
可是不幸俺前段时间真的有了第一次roadkill--现在想起来心理还不好受。
那是深夜，俺开在乡间公路上，一个完全陌生的地方，路两旁是茂密的树林，
不见人烟，前后都没有车，俺的时速在55-60 miles。
地图搁在方向盘上，迟迟不见下一条该转的路，俺已经确定自己是迷路了--
具体为啥那个时间出现在那里以后再表
突然发现前方好像有张破报纸，灰灰白白的，因为车灯恍的缘故，看不清细节。
没多想，就开过去了，撞上的一瞬间，座位底下狠狠颠了一下，像压上了一块
石头但是比石头软的感觉--显然是骨头了，这种感觉一辈子不想再经历第二次。
现在想来很可能是只兔子，可是某人说怎么可能呢，兔子那么小，不会让你觉
得颠一下，天知道。俺没看到那只动物的眼睛，可是在俺的脑子里给伊加上了
一双无辜可怜瞪得很大的眼睛。
后来证明俺的确是走错路了，后来找了个路口转回来乐。俺很自责，比如如果
没有走错路，就撞不到它；再比如，当时脑子困得不大清醒了，才会莫名其 |

守戒且有定慧， （暂不说， 他会不会这样做）， 带着慈悲的一声
阿弥陀佛， 有用吗？
B开车在路上看到一个roadkill， 一声阿弥陀佛，后， 马上思绪翻腾，
心有某个2B犯了杀戒。。。等等的杂念。
当然你说的正念使然， 人的美丽不需要化妆， 但是需要清洁， 我觉得
或许念佛是一种清洁， 当然不是唯一的一种清洁方式。。。 |

咱中文的手抄本没看过，在芝加哥时，同事间流传一本英文的手抄本，叫《Roadkill
Receipe》。挺好看的，讲如何吃各种Roadkill。 比如在高速上看见压死的动物，如
何鉴定新鲜与否。如果新鲜，抹上酱，用锡纸包住，放在车的engine上，用engine烤熟
，开多少迈，停下翻个身，再开多少迈就可以吃了。每种动物用的酱和开的里程都有讲
究的。

但是如果拿回家自己吃，那是可以的。不过，据说也有些州立法禁止。不同地方不一样。
另一方面，人和人不同。有些人会接受不了吃这种roadkill的鹿，觉得很反感，但是有
些人会觉得这玩意吃起来不错（包括很多老美）。这就好比吃鱼带头部很多人不觉得是
个问题，但是也有很多人就觉得是个问题。公共餐饮服务的话需要考虑大家的感受，尽
量兼顾；而自己的话当然是爱怎么样就怎么样。当然前提都是要合法。
从食品的角度来说，如果是自己刚撞的或者确切知道是刚撞的，拿回来自己吃是问题不
大，也算是个野味。但是野生动物毕竟未经检疫，风险还是存在的。所以对吃野味我个

不吃kung pao,说华人餐馆用roadkiller做饭。于是一部分华人有有了新的理由，觉得
白人看不起他们是因为中国不行，所以把仇恨转到了中国身上，或者转到下层华人身上
，竭尽全力跟中国/底层划清界限，不让子女接触任何中文，歇斯底里地反对偷渡华人

。所以达到极限的时间，比前驱长。现代的四驱车，同样有traction control。

我想如果换佳美或者烤肉FWD，这样的条件下恐怕要翻车了。
Traction极限低，四驱也没意义。对雪区的同志，我觉得顶用的AWD+雪胎是必需的配置
，没什么好商量的。我就有朋友前驱+雪胎侧滑的，后来老老实实换AWD+雪胎了。现在
的AWD越来越便宜，连Legacy这种菜车都配置了Torque Vectoring，在这上面省钱真没
必要。
我其实一直是前驱的支持者，觉得便宜且省油。那辆老烤肉一直开，一直维护。结果呢
，刚换了轮胎没一年，就在雨中打滑了；等我反应过来时已经在向侧后方前进了。要不
是被路灯挡住了，我就翻到匝道下面去了。望着翻开的引擎盖和它后面冒出的烟，我下
定决心再不为了省钱而开丰田神车了。 |

全时四驱还有个好处 这里所有人都没提
在车已经失控 或者轻微打滑的情况下
全时四驱会通过四个轮子的扭矩分配 尽力找回traction, 两驱车打滑再想找回就比较
困难了
Youtube上有个视频 对比 全时四驱和两驱车在沙地竞赛，车手甩尾过弯 享受驾驶乐趣
两驱车很容易做到，视频中车手抱怨开全时四驱基本做不到甩尾过弯
视频名好像叫roadkill之类的 其中一期比的就是这个
如果街趴 全时四驱很容易从雪堆里爬出来，两驱就铲雪吧 顺便锻炼臂力 |
