可能是信金钱，名声，也可能是信上帝的话。但是人信什么就会收获什么样的果实。

基督徒认为圣经整本书，每字每句都要给予同样的重视。
而且他们不矛盾。为什么要所谓听耶和华的话或者听耶稣的话呢？圣经里把旧约律法与
信耶稣的关系说的已经很清楚了。
从亚伯拉罕的例子可以看出上帝看中的是信心。
上帝认为亚伯拉罕是正直的是通过他的信心，而不是他对旧约律法的服从（旧约律法那
时还不存在）。

Because you don't believe in God, but believe this very verse, so you didn't
get the context of this verse right.
Assuming God exist, God made a very good world and let people, who are made
in his image, stay in it. Human were provided everything they need to live.
Human could live with God forever. But Adam chose to do wrong and brought
suffering to human and the whole earth.
