用过 flex 做一个project, 虽然有些 learning curve, 但是开发起来比老的 JSP js
HTML 还是方便太多了，尤其是component based所见即所得的GUI设计，加上remote
object，和服务器的数据交换很方便，另外一个优点就是 session 数据，由于 RIA 的
工作方式和传统的 html 一个页面到另一个页面的方式不同，所以页面间需要保存的数
据完全可以存在一个RIA application, 无需复杂的session 处理。 |

较麻烦，应用复杂起来，服务器短就有很多零零碎碎的工作，毕竟AJAX返回的是页面的
碎片。还没有用过Flash/Flex或者SilverLight。想听听做过的大侠的高见。值得花时
间学吗？我的问题主要是：
- RIA是否会越来越普遍？还是说，大部分情况下JS+AJAX就可以应付？目前还看不到很
多Flash/Flex/Silverlight applications，所以不是很有信心花时间
- RIA是否让用户觉得不习惯？或者不方便？比如浏览器兼容性，mobile用户等等
- Search engine unfriendly是不是个问题？
- 开发成本RIA更大些，周期更长？ |

using http protocol, which is connection-less. So, Rich Internet Application
may just go so far.
To truly enable RIA, I think the underlying protocol needs to be changed.

RIA 是趋势。HTML是DOCUMENT界面，做BLOG网页可以，做大型应用很别扭。
JS也不是金刚钻，烂泥巴一块而已。我在FIREFOX里面用GMAIL，INBOX的
REFRESH用一阵就失效，这还是最好的AJAX组合，基本功尚不过关，现有的
Desktop Email Client都没有这个问题。
说到底BROWSER是个搜索、浏览工具。硬要做个APP FRAMEWORD出来是牵强附
会。JAVAFX有个理念很好：上网去搜索JAVAFX APP，找到一个合适的可以拖
拽到桌面上。以后再用直接点击桌面图标就可以了，不必进入浏览器，当然
CLIENT端要装个JAVA ENV。这种LAYERED APPROACH很MAKE SENSE。BROWSER
的分工就是搜索，找到一个APP后要么交给PLUG-IN、要么下载到桌面再执行。
BROWSER不必插手。
当前的运算体系结构是CPU / CACHE / MEMORY / HARD DRIVE。BROADBAND以
后越做越大，INTERNET很可能就成为HARD-DRIVE下面又一层 LAYER。BROWSER
负责搜索这一层就可以 |

不过对Sun严重没有信心。最近弄出来的东东都是"me too!" 类型。Java在追C#/.NET，
现在JavaFX也在凑RIA的热闹，但是一直没有太独到的想法，JVM也实在太笨重。听说他
们在弄一个lightweight的JVM。不过从applet的失败来看，Sun在UI领域不太get it。
MS也在学adobe，但是MS做user interface要有经验多了，毕竟是做过几个版本的
Windows的，SilverLight看起来像模像样。此前没用过，这次看NBC感觉还不错，Video
效果也很好，一下子对Silverlight有信心了些，MS毕竟是大得多的公司，同时也在解
决跨平台的问题，感觉这次有戏。不但如此，从ActionScript的变迁看，Adobe不是很
在行弄runtime和语言。MS则是老手，弄得runtime很系统，还能和.Net的一套东东结合
起来，透着大家风范。所以感觉这个事情虽然被Adobe占了先机，MS has a shot。可惜
我在Unix上invest比较多，M$ .NET的东西很久没碰了。

ajax之前是flash泡沫，不过flash好歹吹出了youtube
flash之前是applet
其实是一代不如一代，flash还有点ria的样子，applet就是纯粹的ria
现在你就别指望做ria了
实际上如果不是m$自己作死，非要跟java闹翻
估计现在都没js什么事了
因为ria的政治斗争太过于激烈
所以最后不管是applet还是silverlight，都没成
flash因为adobe技术水平太烂，所以也不太容易搞出什么花样来
jobs看到了这一点，所以抓紧时间推出了mobile平台
ios的app最终成了这个时代的热点
web的html5到现在还不能让全部的浏览器兼容
还有很多features在慢慢实现，进展过于缓慢
到今天都还不能真正实现当年applet时代想的那些东西
还在脚本上，一点触发控制上做文章，可以说进展不是一点点的慢
甚至还比不上当年的applet |

MOSCOW, August 27 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian oil company Gazprom Neft has
agreed to export 80,000 tons of oil from Novoportovskoye field in the Arctic
; it will accept payment in rubles, and will also deliver oil via the
Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline (ESPO), accepting payment in Chinese
yuan for the transfers, the Russian business daily Kommersant reported
Wednesday. |
