情人节期间去蒙特利尔，碰到一个当地朋友向我吹蒙特利尔人如何有情调，「至少每
周外出就餐两次」。我心想：Is that a big deal？多伦多人是平均每星期外出就餐三
次的。论享受美食，全加拿大没有哪个城市能和多伦多相提并论。
据全球知名美食指南杂志Zagat最近公布的一项调查，多伦多人每周平均外出就餐3.1次
，居全北美前列，超过纽约（3.0次）、芝加哥（2.8次），略低于美国著名的旅游城市
拉斯韦加斯（3.4次）。尽管这去年本国经济遭遇缓增长，失业率上升、平均收入下降
，但是仍有28％的受调查者外出就餐的次数超过前年，18％的调查者的次数下降；34％
的人在享受美食上的花费超过前年，只有9％的人下降。
同这份调查一起出炉的，还有2012年度多伦多餐馆的排行榜，一共囊括了本地315家餐

发帖数: 593 | 8 在Pines blvd 上有两家,一个在pines blvd 和Palm Ave的十字路口靠Pines blvd 的路
左侧及Palm Ave的路右侧.
在palza里面找吧.跟"竹林"同一个plaza的.
还有一个顺着pines blvd 向东走,过了SW 86th ave,在路左的小入口向左进入plaza,
和Nami restautant 及 New China Buffet 在同一个plaza. |

General Tsao's chicken or hot and sour soup to you and ask you to order them
next time you're having chinese. it is really not that helpful.
if you would like to have a good expereince with Japanese food, i would pick
a traditional japanese restaurant and go for the "Omakase" menu, which
simply means "please take care of me". The restaurant owner would serve you

when look at it as whole, it seems every restaurant closes after a fwe years
. everyone excluding cantonese.
have to say early cantoneses are more decent than recent restautant owners.

看看有多少大家知道的馆子在里面，跟自己心中的定位有何不同？
顺便说下，urbanspoon列明的休斯敦中餐馆有566家,能在这里上榜的算是老美心中的中
餐TOP 20%。

There is a Korean / Asian mkt in Newport News (I64, exit 255), which is pretty
good. You can buy a lot of stuff, vege and fish. There is another Asian mkt in
downtown newport news (along Jefferson Ave). Agree with you that there is no
good Chinese restautant.
