Under Windows, there is a small package called "ctrl2cap" or
something similar.
Under XFree86, there is a keyboard option can switch ctrl and cap,
check /etc/XConfig and search the string, uncomment the line, restart
your X server or restart the machine. |

1. Click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel and double click Regional
Options.
2. In the General tab, click Set Default button, set Chinese (PRC) as the
defualt.
3. Click OK and restart the computer.
4. Repeat the step 1.
5. In the Input Locales tab, click Add to add the input method and restart
the computer
Ok, enjoy the Chinese words in English verions Win2k.

password in some line. So you could use it the next time.
But I never setup the screen protection password. It is
useless. Anyone restart your machine can find it. So just
use the power password or find some other software. |

then choose install a new copy of windows.
after restart, just input Enter(install)
then the installation will detect a previous
copy of win2k, then ask if you want to recover.
say yes. after 20 minutes. ok lah.
remember: do not use recover windows when
you enter restart, and at the 1st screen.
I also move away my personal folder under
Documents and Settings. Then after reinstalled
move it back. |

没装 sp2 的要改注册表。装过的这么搞：
Control Panel -> Automatic Update -> Turn Off Automatic Udate
Ctrl-Alt-Del 停掉 wuauclt.exe。
Start -> run 里面输入 gpedit.msc 开启 group policy editor，在里面：
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Template -> Windows Components
-> Windows Update
下面双击 No auto-restart for scheduled Automatic Updates installations
选 Enable。
双击 Configure Automatic Updates 选 Enable，选自己想要的。
双击 Re-prompt for restart... 选 Diabled。
Control Panel -> Automatic Update -> Automatic

restart, it shows "that last time XP is not restarted properly". then it
shows several choice like : safe mode, safe mode with network, last known
configuration, and start windows normally.
I select " start windows normally", it will show the "windows xp " welcome
page, the black background image with "windows" in the middle and the
running bar below. but it will stay there for a couple seconds, then it
reboot again.

发帖数: 6 | 9 刚买的机器，VISTA HOME PREMIUM，本想卸掉随机带的30-day trial version McAfee
，装Symantec EndPoint Protection AntiVirus 11.0.2000。结果等装上以后，老出现
Visual C++ Runtime Error，抱怨SYMANTEC。上网一查，发现是因为ThinkVantage
Client Security Solution和Semantec不兼容。于是决定删除Symantec杀毒软件，可是
试了几次都不成功。然后就决定System Recover，结果RECOVER还没完成电池就耗光了
（没来得及插上电源），就关机了；等再开机后按照INSTRUCTIONS按THINKVANTAGE键进
入系统复原，可是每次进行到一半就要求重新启动机器。如此反复几次后，现在就只能
看到两个屏幕：LENOVO LOGO的屏幕，然后就是"BOOTMGR is missing, Press C+A+D ro
restart" 而RESTART后能出现的也就是这两屏幕。
还没有来得及拷贝系统恢复盘就出了这个问题，LENOV |

发帖数: 8 | 15 成功下载了SAS 8.1, 可是安装的时候老是在一开始就出现以下这个message "setup
has detected that a reboot is pending for this machine. Your computer must
be restarted before setup can continue".
试了一下几种方法不奏效：
1. 就直接restart，然后开机后同样的message仍然repeats；
2. 到网上搜索类似的message，有高人分析是因为之前安装某个别的软件的时候在注册
表里有写入内容，高人教授的方法是，去注册表里，找到某个pathway，备份其下的名
为"PendingFileRenameOperations"的文件的键值，然后删除之，就好了；我尝试了一
下，找到了指定的pathway，但是没有这个文件啊。。。。。
郁闷，半夜花了好久下载下来的SAS却不能安装，手头还有很多data需要analyse，这可
怎么办呢？
大家有没有遇到这种情况？帮忙分析一下。

看到有不少人在找热导率计算方面的in文件，我就贡献三个in文件吧，仅供参考。
同时，附件里贴出了我的计算结果。EMD的输出结果（compute heat/flux command
+compute tc command的计算结果）中， “ac.dat”（见附件中的"ac.wmf"）是热流自
相关函数（我已经修改了compute_tc.cpp，目前输出的是normalized HCACF，但结果中

unlikely
China will buy some figher jets well known to India.
J-15 is still being developed and Su-33's assembly line does not exist
anymore.
It is quicker to build J-15 than restarting Su-33 assembly line.
There is plenty of Russian engines for the test flights of J-15 and after
that,
WS-10 will be used instead. I don't think there is any doubt that J-15 will
be
the standard Navy fighter jet used for aircraft carrier.
