忘了我自己都有自己的local repository了。
几个办法：
1. 自己下载需要的plugin, 然后一个一个mvn install. 非常冗长，麻烦的过程
2. 自己在一个可以访问central maven repository的机器上build好local maven
repository， 然后整个copy 到你需要的机器上。
3. 找一台可以访问central maven repository，并且你也可以访问的机器，装maven
proxy. |

you can clone it between multiple computers. every cloned repository
contains the entire file tree, as well as the revision history of all files.
you can restore a file to any previous version. if any one of the
repositories is gone (disk failure), you can clone the entire data from any
working repository, and you get almost everything back.

上周在mitbbs上看到有人推荐apple tv，想到价钱也不贵($95)，就进了个一个。
主要目的倒不是为了airplay——至今还没怎么用过这个功能——而是看上了两点：
1. 电视上看netflix
用apple tv直接接电视上就可以streaming netflix，还是很方便的。
2. 看中文节目
其实我们家平时不看中文电影电视剧。不过要是老人来了，还是需要的。
花了十几个小时研究破解攻略，走了很多弯路，反反复复试了很多次，终于搞成功，还
是很有成就感的。

那个看上去很 NB 但是容易吓走被骗的。
用过一阵子 branch & merging 的话再看那样的图才容易理解。
我还看过有人画的一个图说明 git 里面几种不同的存储的关系和
命令如何把 bits 在不同的存储之间移动的。那个很好但是我手头
上找不到了。

1) 如果你要装一些3rd party的software,很多都是给RH等这种主要的distro编的.要装
在Gentoo上可能要改好多东西.
2) Gentoo repository连续性太差.稳定性比较好的production server一般都不太愿意
经常update.你要有一段时间没update,update需要的东西Gentoo repository里可能已
经没有那么旧版本的update了.
我们过去跑Gentoo的机器基本都换成CentOS了.Debian没serious用过.感觉repository比
CentOS大多了.

原来一直用CVS，最近刚刚换到SVN.
在Feisty fawn上设了个local的SVN repository，然后把一个目录A给import到
repository里，删除A，然后用SVN checkout这个目录，结果发现这个新的目录
占用的硬盘空间比原来的那个大了很多(差不多1倍的样子)，仔细看了一下，发现
多用的这些硬盘空间主要是被.svn/text-base/给占用了，貌似这个目录把几乎所有
的文本文件都原封不动的copy了一份。这样等于我的机器上有了三份copy(目录
A, 目录.svn/text-base/和repository里各有一份)，SVN这个做法未免有点太
浪费磁盘空间了吧。 |

啥都不改动时，pom refer 的jar 找不到，
为何cmd line 在parent folder build 通过了？output 也显示各module build 都
successful，
我也看到example module 的java class 都生成在target/scala-2.10/classes/org/

我在maven local repository (.m2)里找到了spring-context所在的目录，
里面主要有两个文件，一个是spring-context.jar，另一个是spring-context.pom。
jar里面没有dependency信息，这些信息是在pom文件里。
也就是说，maven central repository网站，
对每一个jar文件都整理了一个pom文件，其中存贮它的dependency。
所以maven解决类库conflict最终是靠central repository网站维护。
对吧？
maven我一直没搞明白，觉得很confuse。
比如这个spring-context类库，我如果不用eclipse工具看的话，
根本不知道它depend on spring-beans类库。
在这种情况下我会把两个都写在我的pom.xml里。
比如这样(请注意这两个版本不一样）：

示需要安装的时候，那个package repository 一般是miktex 2.5\tex\miktex\latex。
最近重装过系统，也重装了miktex，再去这个地方的时候，却说 \MiKTeX2.5\tex\
latex does not seem to be a local package repository. 那这个local package
repository 到底在哪？
如果我打开miktex 里面的browse packages, 可以安装一些packages, 但今天想安装
beamer，它却说error from server:404. 怎么回事？

作成projects 存起来. 也方便查询。
2。比如打开 code::blocks的一个workspace. 我存了几十个projects在里面。
可以ctrl+shift+F 全workspace查询关键词。又比如，我有一个 project叫
BinarySearchTree, 里面存的是我所有做过的关于Binary Search Tree的code
snippets.当然，你也可以每道题都直接在projects里存成cpp or h files.我是在
projects里只存code snippets（这样空间小一些，不用记录过多的int main () or
headers）。 然后再把每道题的不同解法都存成单独的cpp or h files另存在projects
