到了29/41，这几点应该是碾压市面上所有没换代的mid size sedan菜车吧。期待

The Detroit News got a hold of a letter sent to suppliers in November in
which Ford says it is canceling a planned North American redesign for a 2020
Fusion。
这代fusion于2013年推向市场，计划要熬到2020年换代，但是福特觉得从丰田camry方
面的压力太大，fusion销量狂跌21%。所以福特直接取消了下一代fusion的研发计划，
说换代了还是卖不出去，不如省点钱接着熬着，破产不破产等两年再说。 |

I use both and Yodlee can connect to more accounts than Mint. Yodlee's

credit card transactions come up as "unknown type" on Mint. Whereas Yodlee

coding考了recursion, DP, 二叉树bfs，简单的hash一类的。因为写程序比较快，一共
答了7,8道coding题，难度不超过cracking the code，感觉基本答得还可以，难一点的
题bug还算少，而且跟面试官解释了一些边界情况为什么没有比这么写更简洁的方法，
除了最后一个面试官很变态。考了两个很简单无难度的code让写，顺序写完（不给时间
检查）以后叫不许动，拍照，然后说你的code有bug，虽然我很快给找出来了，但是给
拍照了。其实最后一个面试官的时候已经有点晕了，他早点说需要一次写对我就会写慢
些，可是他也没有说。。。
然后栽在一道large scale的设计题上。绝对不是所有的面试官都让你随意发挥，有的
人心里装了一个答案，问的很模糊，你不答到他那个答案他就是不满意。不知道如何解
决这种情况。大概问答过程如下：

我不知道这一问一答是你简化过了还是实际就这么简单。如果实际就这么简单，
回答就很有问题。一般问一个设计题，是先要把问题的各种要求先和面试官讨
论清楚。你这么回答就好像考官问如果搜索速度太慢怎么办，你回答说用
cache一样（正确的回应是先讨论哪个环节慢了）。而对于这个问题我觉得首
先应该问清楚这个系统有多大，有多少Machine，有没有balance的要求，会
不会add或者delete整个machine，等等。
然后，即使在问清楚条件的情况下，也不要马上给一个specific的方案，而是
依旧泛泛地谈大致有几类思路。然后根据考官的反应，再说具体的技术细节。

就是教你点怎么做process improvement 项目的东西，比如process map啊，value
stream啊，FMEA, MSA, 之类的，然后教你点统计学的东西，
比如怎么来分析数据，f(x)=k1x+k2x+k3x...+b,数据哪里有问题，然后就让你用这一套
方法做项目，最后算算你省了多少钱，给经理们做个幻灯片演示。
然后你就秀给他们看，基本上就是说，以前这状况多么糟糕，然后我多么牛逼地找出了
问题，通过我牛逼的统计分析，我的数据支持了我的决策，然后我改进以后，
看看这曲线改变得多美啊，看我这一年给公司省了多少钱！从我这个项目里还可以
分出ABC 三个spin-off projects。
一般来说six sigma 都是这个，用于把y数据从a点改变到b点，比如把库存
从A降低到B，把COST从C降低到D，把revenue从E提高到F。

表现为：
让做什么就做什么，不会碰任何自己职能范围内多余的事情，没事干了就上网。就是所
谓'do bare minimum'，一个程序有点问题，宁愿每次出问题了修修补补，不愿化时间
从新refactor一下。 主动对程序，设计提出建议和自己进行修改，refactor,
redesign 的都是同组的美国人. 很多美国人，你给他一个程序让他维护，1，2个月以
后，你会发现他主动修改，重新设计过很多东西，让程序变得更robust, extendible.
你把一个程序让一老中接受，很多情况下他就最多修改一下不得不修的bug，不会认真
去看源代码，消化. 半年以后这个程序的源代码没改过。你逼这他改了，他稍微动一动。
反正总体感觉，做技术的，老美普遍比老中敬业。当然很不负责任的人不是老中，
老中大部分没有非常不负责任，但是也很少工作态度很主动的，就是大部分人‘混饭吃
’，‘只求无过不求有功’。
所以底层码工老中不少，但是一个也升不上去。我不是说管理层的，就是技术大牛，比

with hashtable + bst. No because if the collision is so severe that a bst is
needed, probably redesigning the hashfunction or resize the table or using
bst directly is a much better solution. |
