就把简历发给他了, 他说下周会有人给我打电话, 貌似好像还比较肯定的语气
这是我第一个联系的recruiter, 不知道通过recruiter招人都是什么流程, 是先
recuiter大概看一下我的简历, 然后觉得比较符合才会投给招人单位吗? 还是他们收到
简历看都不看就递给招人单位?
网上有人说有假工作, 对把自己的简历在网上随便发给他们也有点儿顾虑, 毕竟上面有
电话和住址呢, 不知道应不应该对下周的电话抱有太大希望? 是不是值得花时间去准备
一下电面的问题?

I am shocked. 以前和recruiter打过交道无数,从没碰到这样的。 现在经济不好,这
帮人就能这样。大家有没有什么好办法惩治一下这种shit。
另外,我现在想转专业到SAS, data analyst。 这种工作前景到底怎样。值不值得转
,还有,年龄大了,不可能再折腾了,如果转了,就不能回头了。

recruiter递上去给HM的有好多份,一般情况HM会挑几份他认为合适的电话面试,然后
再挑几个电话面试合格的onsite。
所以对待这种事情平常心,跟recruiter谈完签完字以后就move on吧。 |

上个月底被安排的phone interview。面试完后,recruiter马上打电话通知我pass了,并邀请参加onsite面试。可是到现在为止,大半个月过去了,他都没有officially告诉我onsite的具体信息,诸如日期,地点之类的。
我在十天前发信问他onsite的information,但也没敢问他具体的日期。他及时回信了,说得比较详细,当然,还是没提onsite的日期。
我现在等着心里特没底,是不是他们已经招满人了?我是不是应该再发信礼貌的催
recruiter安排onsite?

interview with google, my recruiter broke his leg so he didn't show up. And
it was the first interviewer that took me to the office.
What's worse, the second interview forgot the interview schedule, and we had
to call to remind him.

我google了一下,recruiter不应该有你的SSN,如果真的有offer,让公司的人直接联系你。
另外有提议说以后遇到recruiter非要你提供SSN的时候,可以提供一个假的SSN,比如改换其中一个
数字,用另一个写法近似的数字代替。以后如果问起来,就说不小心写错了。 |

的强项和弱点,都记录着。
与其到大海里去捞针,在这些申请过或者联系过的人里,他能找到最后candidate的成
功率肯定比到外面撒网更高。所以他们会反复看。
你现在的回答不那么重要,下次联系你的recruiter很可能都不是同一个。Google
recruiter换工作也很勤,很多以前联系过我的人,都已经不在Google了。
觉得没准备好的话,一个礼貌的回复就可以了。
没准备好,不要去浪费机会。F, G这种公司,凭运气混进去的可能性很小。如果你是牛
人,那就无所谓,什么时候去都行。 |

一个问题一定是what's your rate. Tell them you won't give them the latest

还好,上来第一个问题竟然是先问需不需要H1,说了需要之后,态度立马就变了,给人
高高在上的感觉。接下来第二个问题让我自己介绍一下experience,我说了几分钟说完
后,对方竟然没有任何动静,我说了句“hello?”对方才好像走神了一样反应过来。
