好吧，commercial的rafting喜欢mark up,4+也可以说5。
上一楼介绍的Maine的Dead river，5月初化雪放水超过7000cfs，那家公司也是老老实实说是4+。我们只讨论真正的Class V。
一个北州喜欢玩船的朋友告诉我，正儿八经的commerical 5级，对rafter是有要求的，包括曾经的4级控船经验，身体fit，双臂悬垂达到多长时间，在rapid里头能游泳至少可以catch eddy，以及基本的抛接就生绳技术等等。
如果你觉得太麻烦，那是因为闯5级，绝对绝对是team work。一条船上，一个人的失误就可能影响其他队员；一个船队，一条船的失误多半会影响其他的船。打个粗糙的比方，一条弯道多的路是3级；路上有路障加下个不大不小雨是4级；5级呢，弯更急障碍更多雨更猛。你还敢在5级路上开车？好！现在我告诉你，你必须同时和一个队的车一起开，开车的人是什么车技不知道，但是就是胆子大喜欢玩刺激，你还敢开吗？

repair cost ~14K!!
请教大家这个问题多严重？ 修过之后是不是基本安全？ 已经是40年的房子.
我这个是short sale, 我的agent认为要不到repair credit 或reduce price, 真是这样
吗？
头大啊，其实除了这个还有一堆大大小小的问题...

处理之后木头还是得换。我想能不能让roofer换roof时直接把木头换了，省掉这$1500

60年代的老房子，原来的insulation大概是R6到R7这样子，但是经过2次remodel和
upgrade，一次是安装recess light一次是换 空调的return duct。有些地方的
coverage=0了。今年有几天热的时候家里也热。于是决定upgrade insulation。
一开始打算找contractor来做，quote的几个contractor都说非常容易，大概2-3小时的
job。Quote的价钱从1600到2600不等。后来我发现材料价格大概才600块，那么2-3小时
就要给contractor 1k到2k，这hour rate太高了。不如自己挣了。而且机器都能免费租。
既然定下来自己搞，就开始先把准备工作做好。PPE买好了之后就开始做air seal和

chanllenge the authoritives... Now I know its real name.
Anyway, as I was told by the paddlers/rafters/anglers alike, the upper
stream has more rapid current and violent waves, whereas the down stream
beyond Monroe tend to be wider, and water is not as violent as upper stream.
Anyway, the section we happened to paddle is suitable for entry level
paddlers like me. YOU JING WU XIAN is good enough. |

大部分漂流前我们都查这份资料看看那条河死过人否, 分析会不会发生在我们身上, 如
果类似发生, 要么我们取消要么绕开危险地段.
下面一个案例正好是我们明年COLORADO第二次大漂流第一选择的河(可能全球第一有名
日漂河), 由于选择段很多,我们可能放弃出事的这段, 这是III+的PIN案例, 十年前死
过俩位(FROG ROCK RAPID), 这次死的是GUIDE新人, 不知道她是否读过这些资料, 就是
读过也证明她不够谨慎.
FROG ROCK在一定水位下一旦落水在其前,出大事的机会是大的.
今年COLORADO阿肯色河死的GUIDE是三位, 比顾客死亡还多, GUIDE的工作是户外GUIDE
里很危险的一种.

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A swift water rescue is taking place Monday
evening on the Gauley River where a whitewater rafter fell into the river

从他赢了RODICK后，一直观察，到战胜
SAFIN，就已感觉他能赢。
那天看他和HERMAN的比赛，第一局，虽然7：6，
但发挥正常，所以不挂在心上，不知不觉睡着了。
醒来一看，不仅6：7输了第二局，而且0：6 输
了第三局，不仅为他焦急起来。开始为他
考虑对付HERMAN的每一招每一式，好象，他的大部份打法能和
我想的MEET上。从心里往外，希望他赢，原因有三：
一是，愿意看到他给每一个选手都一顿ACE，让他们满地找牙。
二是，HERMAN和RAFTER属于同一类型的打法，不如
不同类型打法的比赛精彩。
三是，IVAN从此再也不打球了，能让这次比赛成为一个光荣的
句号，也能WEMBLEDON球史上留下一个闪光点。
看世界杯足球，看TIGER WOODS打GOLF，都没做到为他们
考虑如此精细的地步。
真想发个mail给IVAN，告诉他这一切。

一位职业选手，每天的训练中可能会没有正手，反手，
但是不可能没有发球。
这也说明了桑普是可以让人信服的；
他在最重要的技术环节上是最出色的。
换个角度讲，
在现役发球高手中，除了克拉吉赛克和伊万各只拿过一次温网冠军，
桑普以外的发球机器在大满贯上无所斩获；
这也说明有好的发球不是胜利的必然因素，
桑普在其他的技术战术素养上也有过人之处。
(注：并未将拉夫特计入发球高手中；因为这里的发球高手局限在速度
过人这一点，而RAFTER主要讲究旋转。况且他的上网战术也有别于其他人。) |

水准。pete的一发得分率里发球得分占的比重最大。我已经说了，看发球的
威力不能单看ACE的数目。pete的发球除掉ACE，造成对手接飞或回球很差失分
的比例是很大的，后者这2个原因得分绝对超过任何其他选手，甚至是rafter
和伊万。他们二人主要靠一发，一发foul了二发的威力平均算比pete差远了。 |

发帖数: 126 | 34 graf的反手球主要靠旋转？我都不知道说什么好了。graf的反手球，靠的是稳定，
相持时几乎没有失误。更重要的是，她的反手回球很深，一般都是回到对手的反
手(对右手选手是左边场地)的底线附近，落地下沉，让对方不好处理。对方要么
相持，要么进攻。如果对方与她相持，在相持中graf一般总能找到机会侧身，发
挥她的正手威力，很快转换为主动。如果对方采取进攻回球，由于女子选手力量
相对较弱，对graf这么深的反手回球，她们进攻也没有什么威力，技术不佳的还
容易下网。能很好攻击graf反手削球的女子选手不多，我看到的也就赛莱斯和莲
茜，她们的反手进攻力量足。大小威肯定也是可以的，虽然她们成熟后没怎么和
graf交过手。
graf的反手削球打法放到男子选手中就是找菜。男子选手脚步快，反手削球这么
长的时间内足够他们侧身正手抽击，无论抽直线还是斜线都能有利于拿到主动权。
以前rafer反手也是削球居多，澳网时经常被一些无名小卒搞的狼狈不堪。人就是
利用他反手的削球来侧身正手进攻。后来rafter换了个教练，主要目的就是强化
反手进攻。
总之，反手削球是一种过渡打法，要说威力，也就是下沉，其他方向的旋 |

but I have to say his ready pose is a little bit different. no need to learn
like that.
Klajicek's serve is much more smooth and he is damn tall!
Corrretija has a great text book backhand too I think.
Rafter's volley is one the best, he doesn't have a powerful serve like
Pete but serves to manage his game very well.
Andre's two backhand was the best and invent hitting ball
early to cut the time and add power.

上网多了减慢球速，底线多了加快球速，其实挺无聊的。。。
现在赛事越来越频繁。保持排名就很难保持状态。牛人和烂人之间的距离越来越小，
而且专攻一项(草地，土地。。。)的人越来越多。连续排名第一越来越难。
桑没那么神圣，但是他处在创造神圣的时代。未来的球星即使再有天赋，也没有
这么好的机会。(除非排名的规则修改，网球自愿发展水平而少赚钱)

对水平对比不好说，攻击费的绝好手段，还是这些对手牛茶杯太少。
可是这里的主要原因就是费这段时间太统治了，9/14。假如说他是正常的6/14（这个已
经可以说是比较统治了），余下三个冠军，分给温网连续一次半决赛、两次决赛，和这
次美网决赛的罗迪克（想象一下他如果是2温2美，大家怎么评论他），或者连续美网决
赛、半决赛输给他的一休，那他们都在24、5岁有3、4个大满贯了，加上2个的萨芬和年
轻但已有成就的纳达尔，以及巴格达、加斯奎特这些后来的teenager们，对手群其实一
点不算差，年龄分布也很合理。
桑的对手，大家总是搬巨星吓人。但其实Lendel、McEnroe、Wilander这些人和他基本
没有交集，Becker、Edberg也早在桑崛起的93-98年之前过了巅峰。其他主要对手的
Bruguera、Kafelnikov、Rafter、Ivanisevic、Krajicek等人，丝毫没有看出比现在罗
迪克、纳达尔这些人牛。
他真正的对手还是自己的四大天王，但其中Chang就不说了，Courier也是奇怪的 |

其是职业圈里最难看的正手。另外提到和Rafter的矛盾时，很坦然地说是自己一时冲动
先说错了话。
不过和Agassi一样，Sampras对Connors也没什么好感，不过对他训练的效率还是很佩服
的。
另外Sampras最喜欢的脏话是MotherF****r，年轻时居然在Wimbledon对着英国观众骂了
一句，不过事后新闻发布会上很怯懦地否认了。 |
