会不会太高？装个啥样的mitigation能最大程度减少radon？花费多少？
都想walk away了。。。 |

and howward counties, if i remember correctly. PG county seems better in
terms of radon.
no need to walk away. not very difficult to rectify. for 9.8 reading you
definitely need mitigation which costs the neighborhood of $2k. ask the
seller to fix or credit as it is major defect. |

the radon level on the first floor? Maybe you can consult a mitigation
company?
The one we are buying (2-yr old) was 6.9 in the basement, and we didn't even
check the level on the first floor. But after the seller installed the
mitigation system, it was lowered to 1.8. Not as low as the guy above
though.

5.4。 如果我们让seller给装（或给credit），他们不给，怎么办？
如果不给，因为这个walk away，也有点不值（已经花了大几百）。怎样让agent跟seller讲，才会让seller
更有可能给装或给credit？ 多谢！

-10一般推荐多测几次，因为一次测试并不准确。再说了，这个radon问题是地区性的，
如果你们就在那个区域卖房，多半还是会遇到这种问题。安装一个mitigation也不贵，
特别是和房子以及家人健康比起来。 |

我们买的房子，radon差点超标，但是我们要求要credits。我们从来没有想过如果不给
怎么办，因为不存在这种可能性。最后我们的agent和seller给了我们钱，不过我们不
打算装了，因为没有超标。

我们在中西部的小城市，(好像这个地区都会有radon problem)。是不是只有我们这里
才这样，别的地方是不是都是seller给credit装mitigation system? |

问题。 我们要就seller装的mitigation system。 我们当时写的是： 这是一个关系
到safety和health的问题（描述的严重一点）， 所以seller必须给装。 最后他们就答
应给装了。
跟seller再讨价还价一下吧，不过这个东西也不是很贵（几百到一千的样子），如果真
喜欢房子的话应该也可以接受 |

考虑，不知道会不会买。不过板上很多人说装了就没事。不知道费电否？我们卖家给装
的声音很大，记得请他们装噪音小的那种。 |

1. 房子里面以前做过radon test结果是yes。 然后2005年装了active mitigation
system.
2. basement里面没有sump pump, 不过disclosure form 里面说没有漏水的问题
3. disclosure form 上面写有small shrinkage cracks in basement floor
大家说说这样的房子能要吗？特别是1，这个严重吗 |

一下。是不是做了Water Proof, Radon 也就会降下来？
