，被订走的房间达 23.6 万间，平均费率为每晚 275 美元。纽约市也印制了达4万份结

已执政12年的纽约市长彭博（布隆伯格）不再连任，明年的纽约市长空缺，刺激了无数
政治雄心者。美国两大政党民主党、共和党，昨日举行了党内初选，决定明年的市长候
选人。
纽约市长在美国政坛地位特殊，因纽约是全美以至世界最有名气的都市，所以市长地位
和影响力都是全国、甚至是世界性的。这次是当任市长不再参选（没有在任者竞选连任
的优势），所以各界竞争者可谓挤破头。在民主党方面，就有13人竞争，共和党方面则
有6人，加起来，一个纽约市长引来近20人角斗（上届美国总统大选，正式候选人有253
人，权力真是诱人呵）。
按美国政治光谱，纽约是左翼民主党的地盘，在总统大选中，过去几十年（除了雷根连
任总统时之外）都是民主党获胜。所以这次民主党的市长初选，更加引人注目，因为谁
在党内赢了，谁就有可能是下届纽约市长。
在昨天的纽约市长民主党初选中，五名主要参选人已「水落石出」。被视为可能是第一
个华裔纽约市长的刘醇逸（John Liu）惨败，得票率只有7%，名列第四；垫底的是前联

报导，除了选票的情况。７％已经很不错了。我相信如果选举前的民调好一些，会有更
多的人选他。De Blasio, Quinn, Thompson,Weiner 在那天都在电视上露面，我就是没
见到刘在电视上。我是觉得不公平，只希望能多生几个小孩，华人多一些，会好吧。
募款违规的最后的情况是,有六千多人捐款，其中5５0左右的捐款值得怀疑，选择了其
中的８０进行调查，其中２２人接受调查。2例明确有问题。有几例捐款人不承认有问
题，但连我都觉得有问题。比如ＧＷ超市的。其实被这样处理刘也不是不可指责。我只
是奇怪，刘的办公室为何不把有问题的给去掉。太大意了。

如果是Oakland的天使们干的, 过1-2周警察很可能就把证件还回来. 据说是警民合作,
警察每周定点去取证件之类的东西. 在左派加州,只有想不到的,没有做不到的. 警察没
办法,抓了也关不了,也不愿意费精力去抓了. |
